Booked a test before xmas and on the T&Cs told me the test can be cancelled up to 24 hours prior.For obvious reasons, our flight was cancelled and we asked to cancel or get a voucher 70 hours beforehand. Received an email basically saying that we have lost our £120 as we did not cancel within 72 hours. Sent them the screenshot of the T&Cs stating 24hours, however, they said they had the right to change them. Doing this to people at a time like this is disgraceful, Both Gatwick Airport and ExpressTest should be very ashamed of themselves. You haven't heard the last of this!read more

Very poor reception of EU citizens on 30/12/2020.
Never had before the experience of entering the passport check area and immediately facing a woman shouting 'passenger locator forms'with a hostile attitude speaking to people as if they were rubbish. Complete lack of communication skills. Also for the first time, I had my luggage opened in front of everybody, and I travel into the Uk several times per year. That's fine, one day anyone can be stopped for checks, it's just funny it happened on 30/12 and people, in general, were having such a poor reception. No friendly faces anywhere, I would be ashamed if people are received that way in my country.
What a shameful behaviour from staff and unpleasant arrival experience at Gatwick, very far from 'world-class.' standards.read more

Travelled to Lanzarote a week ago what fantastic staff from beginning to end I needed special assistance due to a broken ankle just coming out of cast .The staff at Gatwick were superb nothing to much trouble and very efficient with everything going to plan . Would highly recommendread more

My wife and myself arrived at Gatwick North terminal on an incoming flight from Lanzarote on 12/12/20.My wife had slipped and badly injured her back whilst in Lanzarote and due to the travel corridor being lifted we had to travel home early, therefore could not book any assistance for her. When we eventually got off the whizz air plane there was a chap called Tim waiting in case of anyone needing assistance. He was absolutely fantastic, he transported us on a buggy to Passport Control, helped with everything and even pushed my wife to the bus to the car park in a wheel chair. All this at 2.30am!!! Thank you once again Tim, if your boss is reading this please give Tim a much deserved pay rise.read more

Unfortunately the media hype over express testing is a huge disappointment. No testing slots available at Gatwick airport for weeks.Great sales technique providing a false sense of security for the masses.
