Like so many others who have left their reviews here, my father in law booked a room through your site.Upon his arrival, he was informed by the hotel that they had no record of the reservation and that it was a fraudulent service. This was supposed to be his trip to meet his grandchild for this first time and now he's dealing with this. Needless to say, a full refund of the charges is the only acceptable resolution.read more

RUN RUN RUN and do NOT book with this company. Several issues 1) I was tricked into thinking I was calling Staybridges reservations #.I never book thru 3rd party companies 2) The sales agent lied and said we would be getting a 2 bedroom suite with 4 queen beds and 2 separate bathrooms. I made the reservations on speaker phone and my husband confirmed these details as we booked. 3) Get to hotel. Go up to the room. Only 1 room with 2 queen beds and 1 bathroom. Go back down. Hotel says sorry there is nothing they can do that is what I paid for and ordered thru this 3rd party company. I was shocked. Ended up having to pay for another room way down the hall from our room. So I had to spend another $1000 to get what we originally ordered.
5) After researching who I actually booked with..Get a Room.com I called them. The recording said we were being recorded and I was happy because they should have my original booking conversation on file. After explaining they were sorry they would research and reprimand the sales agent and give me a 10% discount. I said NO. It’s not a money thing for me I want them to STOP scamming people and causing families stress on their vacations. I promised them I would report them on every review and social media platform I can find. I will also go to the top executives at Staybridge to let them know the terrible blemish this third party company is placing on its brand. A reputable hotel chain should only use reputable 3rd party booking companies. I’ve learned a big lesson. NEVER book a reservation outside of the direct phone # to the hotel.read more

Have experienced over the 2 years I've used GETAROOM, this:
Customer Service's frustration as the room rate changes to a higher rate,while they are taking my required ID Data, and card payment info.
Your software fails to help your representative, it is not their fault, as I know the way the Software is designed, constantly changes the room rate.
Your software design sets, both the booking service agent and the customer, us both up for disappointment and frustration.
Room and rate quotes, once agreed on, should have ability to lock the room and rate, as soon as the customer confirms agreement to pay and lock the date, room and room rate. The automated system was somewhat slow but I was able to get to customer help live person! That worked.I had to cancel a hotel reservation to change a room preference, then make a new reservation. Did take a lot of time, but was able to accomplish what I wanted.read more
