ZERO stars. SCAM. This is the worst example of an order being wrong, damaged and missing items I’ve ever seen.It’s truly astonishingly bad. I will figure out every way possible to share this broadly so no one else wastes their money on this scam. I ordered a $110 gift basket for my mother for Mother’s Day - amazing flowers and 2 bottles of wine. The flowers delivered were almost dead, and looked nothing like I ordered at all, not in a vase (as ordered) and missing a bottle of wine for which I paid extra. The bottle included was not what I ordered and of way lesser quality. After reaching out to customer service multiple times (phone and email), I finally received the most ridiculous response, especially considering their business is delivering perishable items: Hi, We're sorry to learn that you are not satisfied with the products delivered. We do take careful steps to ensure that all orders exceed expectations. However, as per our substitution policy stipulated in our terms and conditions, at times substitutions may be necessary to fulfill orders in a timely manner, especially in the event that an order is time-sensitive and intended for a special occasion. Substitutions are actually quite common within the gifting and gift basket industry, as products are constantly changing on an ongoing basis after product details and photos have been published. Some items may be temporarily unavailable due to various reasons beyond our immediate control, under which circumstances we reserve the right to substitute such items with similar products of equal or greater value to ensure that orders are delivered in a timely manner without incurring further delays. Degrees of substitution may vary. In some rare instances, the entire contents of an order may be substituted. Due to the high volume of orders being processed, we are not always able to contact customers ahead to advise them of substitutions. By placing an order you accepted our terms and conditions, and thus agreed that the order may consist of products that differ from the original product description. Furthermore, you agreed that you are not entitled to refunds or compensation under such circumstances, as per our refund policies: "NOT AS DESCRIBED & SUBSTITUTIONS - Where a package is 'not as described on our website' and/or we have substituted item(s) in a gift/gift basket that are in compliance with our 'substitution policy'. & Although we are sorry to learn about the condition in which the items were delivered, unfortunately, we are unable to compensate you for the damages that occurred under these circumstances. As per our FAQs and terms and conditions, we advise all customers against shipping perishable items – that is, any product with a lifespan that is subject to spoilage after a period of time such as fruits, cakes, cheeses and plants – using any shipping method that requires more than one business days' transit. Despite our best efforts, we can't guarantee the condition in which products of this nature will be delivered if in transit for longer time periods. We recommend that customers only ship perishable items if willing to pay for/upgrade to the fastest shipping method available during checkout (same-day, next-day, overnight); we also include this advisory in the product details of most of our perishable and custom baskets. According to your order confirmation, the shipping method selected requires more than one business days' transit. We apologize for the inconvenience but hope you might at least be able to appreciate our explanation.

I GOT FULL REFUND FROM HAZELTON!

Like many others on here I was one of the unfortunate shoppers who received rotten fruits and very cheap products from a very expensive hamper I paid.But here I want to share with you all my success of getting a FULL REFUND from Hazelton. 1. Take photos of the rotten fruits and email Hazelton Customer Service these photos. Make sure you state what time you placed the order, what time you requested for the hamper to be delivered, and what time the fruit basket was actually delivered in the email. Take close up photos of the rotten fruits. 2. You are unlikely to get any responses from the customer service but you continue to email them to show that you have chased them many times. I myself sent about 7 emails and made a couple of phone calls. I received zero reply. 3. Contact your credit card company after about 3 days of receiving your goods to file for a "charge back" and sent them all your emails. Including the confirmation email from Hazelton, the emails you sent to chase and include the day and time you tried to make contact with Hazelton via phone. 4. When I filed "charge back" Hazelton tried to fight back but I eventually won because I have all the documents to show that they did not bother responding to me. Also, they tried to say they have no responsibility of the rotten fruits but this is not true. They have ALL the responsibilities to ensure all fruits are in edible condition as we did not ORDER for rotten fruits. I hope you all can get your money back!!

Bait & Switch SCAM

They don't deserve a single star. I wish I would have read all of these negative reviews before ordering from this bait and switch company.The photos speak for themselves. The "gift basket" looked NOTHING like what was advertised on their "Mutts & Mousers" website. I understand per the FAQs on their website that sometimes substitutions are necessary, but this was WAY off. The gift basket I ordered didn't even come in a basket as shown, instead it was delivered in a basic plastic bag. The treats are not the "dehydrated delectables" and the toy is not a giraffe or even a stuffed animal. Poor quality, generic items were substituted and the delivery came very late. I even added some Brandy to the gift order, which was not even included (they did charge me for it). When I emailed customer service they did not respond for a week. Then someone named "Sam" replied to my email and was very rude, demanding photos. After I sent the photos they said they were "not useful" and to "share the correct pictures". Don't embarrass yourself by sending "gift baskets" from this company!

WOW!! Wish I would have looked at these reviews first. I ordered a friend some chocolate covered strawberries for her birthday.She received them 5 days later, totally destroyed and and rotten. The company took no responsibility and said I should have checked the FAQ section as they don't recommend anything but one day shipping. WHY let me choose my shipping then?!?! Every agent was argumentative. Totally disappointing. I hope others find this page first...

SCAM Ordered a $150 Prince Edward Champagne gift basket for Mother's Day. Was able to choose the day for it to arrive,nothing on the website saying orders were being delayed. It was meant to have Champagne, biscuits, tea, champagne flutes, crackers etc etc. I added on a craft beer add on. It showed up a week late, and all that was in it was a $10 bottle of Cava and 4 beers. Such a complete disappointment. Can't get anyone on the phone, and they've stopped responding to my emails.

Please DO NOT order from this company!!! They are a scam company. I had some relatives that were in an auto accident.Spent several weeks in the hospital. When they got home I I spent almost $100 on a fruit basket. When it was delivered all the fruit was rotten and they had to throw it out. It was a total embarrassment to me and my wife. I've tried to contact them for a refund but you cannot get a live person and they will not call you back. This company should not be allowed to stay in business!! Please do yourself a huge favor and stay away from this company. I wish I had seen all these reviews before I placed an order. Maybe someone else will see them prior to placing an order and save their money and an embarrassing situation.
