My review is based on using this headset on a Playstation 4.
I previously owned headsets that costs almost 3 times the Flight S and whilst they sound amazing,I've had many reliability issues with them, so I decided to buy the Flight S until I get a PS5.
The Good/Great:
The Flight S sounds great. At first I was a little worries it would be too bass heavy as it has a frequency response of 10Hz-20000Hz, but I was wrong and none of the frequencies over power the other. The bass/lows and mids are powerful, but warm enough and the highs are not harsh, but extremely detailed, so the imaging and directional queues are simply outstanding. Great and clean sound quality overall. It's also quite a loud headset.
Just don't bother with the surround sound. It's bad on all headsets including the Flight S. It's okish on some open world games, but really bad for games in which you need to listen to important sounds like footsteps.
Super comfortable. Even though I prefer the part of the earpads that make contact with my ears/skin to be velour or soft material, these have super plush memory foam and soft leather earpads and they're still super comfortable.
Functions and features are fully supported on the PS4. Full game/chat balance, mic mute, mic monitoring all at a touch of a button on the left earcup. Each has its dedicated button and very easy to access.
Battery life is advertised as 30 hours at 50% volume, but I use this headset at max volume all the time and I still got around 20 hours out of it.
Qi charging technology. Great feature, but I always charge the headset with the included usb cable.
The Mediocre/Bad:
The Ngenuity Software is pretty basic and not much you can do on there. Just basic stuff like mic and volume adjustments, turn on and off surround sound and that's pretty much it. All pointless to be honest as you can do all those adjustments on the headset itself.
It still says the Ngenuity Software is a Beta version, so I'm guessing and hoping they will soon add more features on there, especially EQ adjustments. Headset software is pointless without an EQ option.
Game/Voice chat mix is not the real chat mix you get on other headsets. On the Flight S it's basically another volume dial. What it's supposed to do is, when you choose to have more game or voice, whichever one you decide to hear more then the other should decrease. For example, if I choose to have more game sound because my teammates are being loud, I would press the game button to increase the game sound and that would also decrease the voice of my teammates. But what this does is, increase or decrease both at the same time. So it's not real chat mix.
Conclusion:
I can only give 3 stars due to the software and chat mix. I really wanted to keep this headset as it sounds so good, but I can get other headsets that would equally have good sound and that actually has a genuine chat mix option.
Message for HyperX:
Please please please improve the Ngenuity Software by adding more features, especially an option to be able to adjust our own EQ settings. Also, please ensure on your next generation headsets, if you're going to add chat mix, make sure it's actually the real chat mix.read more

Good headset but the detachable cloud alpha wire broke really easy. Tried to buy a replacement & bought the wrong cable by accident to then realise it is near impossible to return to product.Waste of money, thanks Hyper Xread more

these guys are awesome.
i had recently gotten a hyperx alloy pro fps second hand, and the originalowner had glued custom the rubber pads on the feet with epoxy and scratched off the sticker on the back.
And it didn't take long for them to respond.
The response was very formal and clear. it was written in a way that i didn't even need to read more than one line, and know exactly what was going on.
Though they sadly don't sell backplates, nor stickers, they did give me a special opportunity to get new feet. The following responses were also very formal, but not in a coorperate or bot like way.
If there's one customer support that i would like to contact again when i'm having an issue, it's going to be Hyperx's CS.read more

I have a lovely hyperx alloy elite mechanical keyboard. Great produhyct.
One of the feet came off,contacted customer support at hyperx.eu, talked to a very nice lady (julia) over email who arranged to have a replacement sent out for free.
Don't get that level of customer service very often now!read more
