Orders are delivered 45 min to an hour late, items are warm, melted. Had issues with missing itemsor groceries placed in sun when there is a large area with shade by the front door.

THIS IS THE WORST F***ING COMPANY I’VE EVER DEALT WITH!!!!THEY LOCKED AND DEACTIVATED MY ACCOUNT FOR NO F***ING REASON AND THEN DECLINED LITERALLY EVERY SINGLE CARD I TRIED TO PURCHASE WITH!!!!!!!! The other day me n my gf put together an entire list of things we needed and when she hit the buttonto place the order she was logged out and told there was unusual activity on her account and that it was deactivated,emails were sent with links we couldn’t access because of her account being locked so then we called and they said we have to email them a pic of the state ID matching the cards we use and this process can take up 72 hrs lol but because we were locked out of the account we couldn’t upload a photo through the app so then we called again were told to email it so we did send pics or our ID’s even tho it didn’t feel particularly safe, then were told a few hrs later to email them pics of any cards we’ve used in the past which are hers and mine to see if they match which they did,and when we thought all was well they then emailed us hours later and asked for actual pictures of our faces which we then decided is not appropriate at all anymore and had to stop.tho the first two things could be verified too match, it didn’t matter i guess cuz it’s possible all the cards we’ve used and the matching ID’s could all be stolen I guess lol but what’s even funnier about this is that the email my gf used to create this instacart account,it’s a gmail and it has her first and last name in the email name,so not only does her email match her ID but it also matches her debit/credit cards she’s used and yet they need selfies too?the irony is that we’ve used my cards on her account and they worked fine she was gonna pay for these groceries with her card and she gets logged out because of unusual activity,so yeah I needed to share this story on every platform because something about this process seemed a bit discriminatory as I don’t imagine this level of identity verification is normal or acceptable for customers to deal with and I genuinely feel like it was entirely inappropriate to expect so much private info to be emailed to them for no conceivable reason of explanation.

I got an email at 2am that I have "re-activated" my account. Was definitely asleep and did no such thing.I've been emailing them for hours and the only response I can get is: "I’m sorry to hear you want to cancel your Instacart Express membership. Are there any concerns we can help you with or problems we can fix to change your mind?". Clearly automated and no one is reading my emails. Absolutely crap.

This app is ridiculous. They charge you a fee to have groceries delivered within a certain timeframe,but are not accountable. I had groceries delivered 3+ hours after the time I paid for. Almost every order placed has 10 or more items replaced or refunded. Customers should be able to set the tip amount after the services rendered. I try to tip generously, but some shoppers completely give you the wrong items and you should be able to tip accordingly. Never using this app again.

I’m not happy with the price gouging. Every single item had a markup to the in store price,there is a delivery fee, a service fee, and I can’t make use of sale prices at the store so Instacart keeps that extra price difference as well. So Instacart finds 4 different ways to increase the price of groceries in every delivery, not including tip. The price should be the same as in store with one delivery fee for using the service. Also, the driver doesn’t seem to see the delivery instructions since he was texting me asking for info that I made sure to put in the delivery instructions field. I had no choice but to use them since I broke my leg and they were the only ones I could use to delivery groceries in my area.

I only gave this one star because you have to give something to get your message done.I ordered from Instacart at the King Soopers by my house and not only did they bring me the completely wrong order the guy wouldn’t answer his phone to exchange it with wherever he delivered my order to. I’m sure the person waiting for this it is for their lunch for their children because that’s the kind of merchandise it is. And I needed my merchandise right away. I called Instacart They will return the money for the order which also better include nine something to get it delivered and the tip but then it takes 5 to 7 days to get your money back! I’ll never ever use the service again complete joke! And Wayne W is a really poor worker and then he doesn’t even take responsibility for the mess of he made instead of just coming and taking mine to where it belongs I’m bringing mine back to me he turned off his phone. I’ll never use this again and I don’t recommend it to anybody
