If you want to spend your money on a service that will not call you back and you have to wait on hold,till you know the music by heart, you picked the right company. Every time you call in they want you to upgrade your service instead of helping you with your current problem. They will give you a service number and ask you what time zone you are in, and tell you a tech will call you back but don’t hold your breath it will not happen till days later or unless you keep calling back.DO YOURSELF A FAVOR DO NOT SIGN UP FOR THIS RIP OFF SCAM

I just ordered the System Mechanic Upgrade. I haven't installed it yet, but I expect it will be quality software as the previous releases.I have a few concerns, however. I received an email earlier today (actually May 8) that informed me if I upgrade for $19.99, I will get another year of coverage (snapshot below). Yet the email I received a few minutes ago states my coverage will expire on May 9, 2022. My coverage for the previous release expires on May 2023.
On 11-13-20, I renewed until May 2022 for $ 8.89. On 02-06-21, I added more time until May 2023 for $14.97. If purchasing this upgrade invalidates my previous purchases, I believe I should receive a refund of $23.86.
Another thing that is not clear. When it is time to renew in May 2022, will it cost me $79.00? There is nothing in your promotions that indicate what the renewal cost will be. This confirmation email that I am forwarding says nothing about the renewal cost. If that is the case, I would rather just cancel the upgrade and continue to use the release that I have paid for. I am retired and my finances are very limited. I can't afford a $79.00 renewal every year.
I love your product, I'm a loyal customer and have been purchasing System Mechanic since it was first introduced in computer stores in CD form. It's great software and keeps my computer running smooth.

I've been using System Mechanic for several years. This is a great product at a great price.The interface is very efficient and user friendly. I really like that I can install and run this on all my home computers for one price. Customer service has always been very helpful and curtious.

system mechanic - hopeless and unqualified support
I was trying to make a comparison between ccleaner and system mechnic.
With the latter I had a few simple questions,where I asked for response by mail.
But even after two weeks despite numerous mails they never adressed my issue.

Difficult follow up
I have used System Mechanic for years. I was offered a renewal for substantial reduction in cost which I purchased.The purchase added one year to my subscription but it seems the renewal is for one year from date of purchase rather than from when my current subscription expires which is another 6 months from now. I tried to send email to enquire but received response from the "2 checkout" purchase handler telling me to contact Iolo. I have been on hold for 2 hours yesterday and so far another 1.5 hours this morning with no answer....very frustrating for what is normally a strong support team
