Great infrastructure, but delays are frequent

Reviewed on 2020-12-23T09:45:09

It's not reliable, you can't really plan a trip as most of the times it will be delayed,or there will be mechanical issues, or there will be a strike, or god knows what else.

It has been a month that I am using the public transport to work. My commuting experience is horrible.Trains break down too often, very slow and after a certain time it runs every one hour. The quality is very poor to the price we pay for it.

Absolute Horrid Experiece!!!!!!

Reviewed on 2020-07-25T16:36:32

So I needed to travel to greystones and I looked on the website for times and it said that the stations where closed except Connolly. So I headed there. When I got there I bought my ticket went to the platform. Last minute they decide to change the platform over the speaker, so I have to run down and I miss my dart. So now I have to wait 30 more Minutes. I got on and as the Dart is travelling, ALL the stations are open. So I went out of my way and traveled and hour to Connolly when I easily could of went to one closer to me. Then they say bray is the last stop when I need to get to graystones. So now I’m stranded in Bray. Absolutely horrid experience. A travel that should take 40 mins took me over 3 hours. I will not be taking the Dart again.

1. Customer service doesn't exist. 2. English language doesn't exist (coming form non English native speaker). 3.Trains are never in time, and by never I mean either it's 5min early or 15min late (and they announce it always after the train is late / delayed). 4. There aren't any proper direction pointer anywhere (on stops / stations you have to watch outside all the time, since the names of stops / stations are only on few spots and they are small). 5. The reason why you have to watch outside all the time is that the screens inside the train are mostly either completely blank either give wrong info, and by wrong I don't mean one stop, but literally sometimes going in the opposite direction (for instance instead of going to Bray, it says it's going to Malahide and vice versa). 6. The recorded messages have the exact same issue as previously mentioned screens and sometimes aren't even aligned with screens also.

I think this crowd are still stuck in the dark ages. Little regard for their customers and don't respondto emails - useless!
