I moved to Canada with my dog for six months and I am so glad I found Kabo. I am vigilant when it comes to my dogs food and gut health. Kabo has provided with easy, accessible fresh food for my Lola. It is high quality and my dog loves it. I always top it with some freeze dried treats and wild caught slamon skins and yogurt for extra nutrition. As my dog has been through many vaccinations and treatments so she can go to Australia, Kabo has helped me to keep her immune system happy and strong. Thanks guys!

I don’t have anything to say other than “Thank You”. I feel blessed to have someone who cares for my dog as I do. Please keep up the great work and effort in keeping our pets healthy and cared for. Not sure what we would do without you, our day to day is much easier with your services and our busy schedules. The food always comes fresh and on ice. I can’t say enough about Kabo as they truly care about our 4 legged friends. ❤️
Experience with Kabo
Ordered first package at 20% off. Following order when back on the site and found there was a 50% off for first orders. Wrote company asking why I was not offered the 50% off and asked for either refund of the difference or credit my account. Response from company was the IT technician neglected to remove this offer. In my mind this is not ethical business practice. Went on site again, 50% off removed BUT there was a 25% off offer for first time package. I did not bother to contact again as thought there would be another IT error explanation. I will purchase another package as my 14 year old chihuahua requires nutrient canine food as I fear my home made food for him does not have all the nutrients he needs. The food is dry following defrost but I add home made turkey or chicken broth to add a bit of moisture. Depending on my dog's continued appetite for this product, I may or may not order a third package.
Terribly Poor Customer Service, Communication & Missed Deliveries
Kabo is terrible at sending out communication to their customers when there are changes to their order, they are having issues with a certain recipe and cannot supply, there will be a change in their delivery schedule, delivery delays due to holidays, etc. There have been multiple times where we have not received our food delivery and there was zero communication from Kabo yet every time they have charged us for the food. They do not send out any notice in advance if there will be a change which doesn’t allow you to prepare by placing an extra order in advance to have food on hand for when they can’t supply. You don’t find out your food isn’t arriving until the day it’s supposed to arrive. For example, apparently, they couldn’t ship food over the holiday period (they blamed the carriers). If I had known, they weren’t shipping over the holidays I would have placed an additional order to arrive before the holidays to do me until their regular deliveries resume. Not only is their communication terrible but so is their customer service. They don't take ownership of their mistakes and they also pick and choose when to reply. Again, I did not receive my last shipment, I was charged for it, I have no idea if I will even receive it, and now I'm not getting any replies from Kabo. Believe all the bad reviews, they are real, and it is the experience you will have with this company. The food quality, recipes, food packaging, delivery packaging are all great, so is the concept of having food delivered to your door on a set schedule of your choice; they just have no idea how to run a business and effectively communicate. Unfortune.
Order not filled properly
For the second month in a row my order was delivered with only half of the order. No correspondence from the company. Last month the excuse was that the Beef menu I ordered was a few weeks behind. This month I again did not receive the beef portion of my order. I was fully charged for the order. The company makes no effort to inform about delays or shortages. I emailed yesterday and again today still no response.
Has gone downhill since I became a customer
I would like to say that, at first, Kabo was great with deliveries and their rewards program. However, they have gone downhill. They did away with the rewards program without warning and without allowing customers to use their points by a certain date. And after MANY years with them as a loyal customer, always paying ON TIME, I paused my delivery ONCE, and when trying to renew for the following month, they would not reactivate it, citing that they no longer deliver to my geographic area, due to fuel costs. I live literally 7 minutes from the city boundary, closer than many other homes in the suburbs. They increased their prices, downgraded the packaging, did away with rewards, and now this!! As well, good luck adding any treats to your order. Always sold out, or perhaps they aren't offering them anymore. My honest review. You won't get what you are paying for. I have found another provider thank goodness.
Made my dog sick for years
Serious health concerns. Kabo was great at first. I used it for YEARS because my dog is so sensitive and was ill on kibble. She was still struggling every once in a while with vomiting and bloody stool, but I thought it had improved. Then they kept making packaged smaller and changed delivery services which resulted in unsafe, already defrosted food. I also would get damaged packages EVERY shipment (since the beginning) which they said they would “add to my next order”. For about a year I was also adding in some home cooked turkey to save money and give my dog more meat in her diet, hoping it would keep her GI in balance. Fast forward to summer 2025 when they were at their worst, my dog had horrible GI issues. I was so frustrated with their lack of quality control that I stopped ordering all together. The most shocking part, my dog has hardly had GI issues since stopping Kabo. I believe the food was pumping my dog full of bacteria and they have seriously concerning quality control issues.
