VERY NICE Customer Service. Exzellente KUNDEN Service. Ich gebe zu , das es lange gedauert hat bis meine E-Mails geantwortet wurden. Ich habe Verständnis dafür. If there is more than 5 Stars i would like given Kees Smit!! Very good Customer Service . Despite the great distance they change me the goods for free. I did not even have to pay shipping from Holland to Germany. I had already complained about thes goods and received 100 Credit. Such a Customer service is very rare. KEEP IT UP KEESSMIT!!
We loved our new furniture
We loved our new furniture, however, we have come across several issues since purchase in 2023. The wooden slats are teak, but don't stand up to the weather too well. So we purchased Life furniture covers, however upon lifting them, found mould had formed on the wooden slats. When we took the issue to our garden center, they informed us we shouldn't use the Life covers. They then did a terrible 'restoration' of the teak, leaving mould still present on the underside using the Life furniture restorer triple pack. The following winter saw this restoration fail (because we were advised Life furniture is better left uncovered). The following winter stripped most of the restoration off. We paid a small fortune for our furniture, and feel extremely frustrated because some garden centres say'yes, cover Life furniture', others say 'do not cover'. We have ended up with sub standard garden furniture, effectivley throwing money down the drain.
Delayed delivery
It was promised to me by the saleswoman in the store that the item is in stock and delivery will happen within 5 working days but the first available date on the brinks delivery system is after a week and that too only available on Monday and Wednesday when i am not home! Disappointing..
Damaged Items - Ruining my Summer
Thanks for ruining my Summer. Visited a branch of Kees Smit and bought two €500 Sun Loungers (€1000) total. They arranged delivery and both items arrived with scratches and looked used. I live in Amsterdam and have a small apartment, but now I have two massive coffin size boxes occupying space for weeks??? Upon arranging a replacement, I asked for them to check before sending and they mentioned that it would take weeks for a technical department to check them before sending (I the cancelled the order and asked for a refund). The polite staff are powerless and the organisation has no plan if you have damaged furniture on how to address it. I've lost weeks and am beyond angry with how this has been adressed.
The return of the garden chair 🥴
I ordered a few weeks ago a chair, unfortunately the chair did not fit my terras and I wrote an email to tell them to give me the info to send it back ! Good they did so I send the chair back! A few days later I got a message from them that I can aspect an order I was surprised because I did not order anything, package arrived and yes it was the chair again, tried to mail and phone no answer!

I ordered a lounge set weeks ago (promised delivery time 14 days). After 3 weeks the furniture still has not arrived- without any information. This is very poor and not at all customer friendly. I cannot recommend this shop!
