QUIZLET BUT BETTER
i love knowt so much. i lwk want to gatekeep it because its a free version of quizlet and personally the ads are fine and i can cope with it
F*** Q******
Use this for my job, education and everything it makes studying super easy
Love this site
Love this site. Replaced quizlet easily and for free. I pay for the basic plan for a few more customization options and ad-free enjoyment. Great way to take notes and use AI to turn them into flashcards.
An excellent studying platform
It's an amazing website for summarizing notes and quizzing yourself, it provides clear concepts and explains everything in great detail. Unlike unriddle ai and several other platforms, this one is way more efficient and doesn't require any payment. Its completely free and VERY HELPFUL. It creates quizzes and flashcards for better understanding of the specific concept/topic that you are revising. I highly recommend this site. Thank you knowt & kai for helping me out with my assessments!!
Great on mobile!
The ads and bugs on computer make it almost unbearable to use, however the mobile version is amazing. I love the import mechanism, and it works just like quizlet.
A great Quizlet alternative
A great Quizlet alternative. I used to be a Quizlet user for 5+ years, but seeing the app started falling apart (I'm not even talking about the pro version) it got impossible to use it. That's when I've learned about Knowt and decided to switch to it. Pros: – absolutely workable free version. the ads are small, especially on a laptop, they do not cover the whole screen and let you study as long as you need. – no limitations in studying. unlike Quizlet, i can study a set for 5, 10, 15 times in a row and it would not tell me that i need to pay for premium for it. – fast import of quizlet and other flashcards, so I didn't have to write everything down again Cons: – I honestly don't understand how the AI helper works. it is unavailable for Ukrainian language. – it does not have auto translation of terms as quizlet – the UX/UI design sometimes pisses me off because of its laggyness.
The ads are distracting
The ads are distracting and are sometimes put over the submit buttons. Like when doing flashcards, the part which has the x or checkmark is covered with an ad. People who want to study do not want to be distracted with moving ads, it hurts our grades. The website itself has some good qualities, but sometimes mixing the term with the definition doesn't make sense. The writing part of the quizzes are near impossible since you have to get each word right rather than the idea. I will probably go back to quizlet once I am done studying with the flashcard set I made unless these things are fixed.
Good Flashcard Making But...
It's an okay alternative to Quizlet, I guess, but the ads are super annoying, and when they're not taking up half of my computer's memory and going super slow because it, they're taking up half of the screen to the point where I can hardly see want I want to click on... I'm not against ads because people have to get paid and maintain the website, but many apps and websites do just fine without taking up my computer memory, so why can't Knowt do the same. I don't see the bombardment of ads doing much but losing users and annoying them. I even considered going back to Quizlet or using an ad blocker, and I might, I'm not sure yet. Without ads, it would be 5 stars.
