I'm one of the multitudes of vloggers/Youtubers who built up a channel over years of hard work and was then kicked off Youtube for very unclear reasons one day.I've tried all the Alt-tech video platforms at this point, a lot them are really not ready for primetime and plagued with endless technical issues and bad design.
LBRY is the best.
I particularly appreciate their embed function, I use their embedded player all over my websites. A unique feature is being able to use GIFs as your video title slide, which allows you to achieve this cool autoplay-style effect. Look me up on LBRY to see this, my username is JRoseland.
The IOS/Windows app is a real innovation. I appreciate the offline watching capacity because these distributed video platforms often have buffering playback issues.
The cryptocurrency model makes sense, it's a way for LBRY to support itself while rewarding creators.
I appreciate that it's free and ad free if you download the app.
The only downside is that it is harder to build a following. If you're doing hardcore political content or conspiracy theory videos, you'll probably find the LBRY audience very receptive. But if you're vlogging about something a little more mundane, Health and mindset in my case, it's a little harder to build an audience. You'll need to share your videos around to pick up subscribers.
Best of all, of course, it's a free speech platform, I don't need to worry about all my hard work being deleted randomly because somehow, something I said offended someone out there on the internet.

I thought that LBRY was made to be the best, but it seems to be worse than other platforms,even worse than youtube
To apply for "Rewards" take days
I asked LBRY to delete my account, it remains to be seen, how long that takes.
