!!!!!!! DO NOT LEASE WITH THIS COMPANY AS THEY WILL CHARGE YOU EXTORNIATE AMOUNTS AT THE END OF YOUR CONTRACT !!!!!!
Do not waste your time with this company.You think you're getting a great deal on a Lease but actually they're more excited for your car to come back so they can evaluate and push unnecessary charges. After I gave my BMW 2 series back the evaluation was done... they sent me a letter that said I owed them £600 for damages but the final evaluation showed only stone chippings around the car which should be classed as 'Wear & Tear'?. This should not be £600. It was a huge mistake leasing through them...

BUYER BEWARE. Can't give '0' stars. They (AKA Leaseplan, or are they called UK Carline /or are they called Network?) sent us a Wear & Tear Guide at end of contract that was 7 YEARS out of date. W&T was fine according to both the collection agent and this Guide, but they said we should have ignored that and referred to the updated guide on their website. To top it all, the BVRLA agreed with them. Disgusting.

Absolutely no communication until I cancelled the leasing arrangement. At which point,I received my first communication in three-and-a-half years; all were invoices. I had no prior knowledge of the charges they would bring to me before cancelling the lease (this was the first time I had ever leased a car). Some more support with the whole experience would have been appreciated.

Under no circumstances should anyone use this company.
We had a car from them and after the agreementhad finished they came to pick the car up.
They just took the keys and said that they do not need anyone there to check the car over, as they had already done the inspection in the car park.
No paperwork or signatures!!
3 months later we receive an invoice for damage to the vehicle.
We asked on numerous occasions for photographs with a date stamp and clear evidence that the damage actually refers to the vehicle we had.
Non were supplied.
After several phone calls and promises that the case will be closed with no further action, we still get letters and phone calls demanding money.
The monies involved will not break the bank and that is not the point. The point is that these people will use any trick in the book to get your money.
Rest assured that we will not be using this company again and I strongly advise anyone else NOT to do so.

I rented a car for 1 year in Portugal (LeasePlan's Portugal branch). I actually did the renting during COVID (a couple of weeks before it started),so I barely had time to bring out the car from the parking.
Innocent of me, I did a renting of a second hand car, which they promised me it was reviewed, and it was safe to do so. When I got my car, an operator from LeasePlan took a look at the car in 5 minutes, and "forgot" to find some of the scratches of the car. I told him and he added a couple to the handover sheet.
I did the renting, and during 1 year it all was fine. When I gave back the car, they actually didn't do the same review of when I rented it. They did TWO 30 MINUTES reviews, and they found a HUGE amount of small scratches and invisible bumps (I guarantee most of them were there from the previous 4 years lease).
When I returned the car, they made me pay for all the broken things from the previous owner of the car, as they didn't write them down in the original, and they used super elaborate scanning to find bumps, which they didn't use when they gave me the car.
It's a scam to get a lease car from them. They'll always try to get your money at the end, hundreds of euros.
The experience during the year, recommended. The scam at the end, not recommended.

A thoroughly miserable experience, I agreed to end my contract 3 months early and pay the fees no problem,I then got an invoice charging me because I hadn't reached the mileage on the contract. They of course didn't tell me this until after the car had gone back.
Communication is awful, three times they have used my old email address despite me giving them the new one, staff have an attitude. I certainly won't use them again and wish I never had.
I'm just left with a feeling of being mugged off!

After being bounced around for a while I finally was fortunate enough to get transferred to Yassin Yusuf.How much praise can I give this gentleman? He was helpful, friendly, knowledgeable and considerate. He listened to my issues without rushing me, he communicated well with me, and at the end of the call was able to sort out my problems and reach a resolution that actually exceeded my expectations. I ended the call feeling happy, relieved and very satisfied

An incredible experience of poor customer service and total unprofessionalism. Left me totally withouttransport for the second time and when I in desperation tried to sort it out putting myself out of pocket they refuse to pay my bill and knock me!
They expected me to be without my car for three days! When I could get the matter resolved in two hours.
I have a raft of issues that will be available for new customers to read.
My recommendation to anyone thinking of leasing a car to look elsewhere. They can't all be like this.
