I purchase many different items for many different hobbies and interests from online shops all over the world and I can honestly say,this Limited Run Games shopping experience is the absolute worst of anything I’ve had to deal with. I don’t have the energy to spend much time on this, but I feel I need to warn potential customers of the delay and hassle you are highly likely to experience, so you can decide before ordering, whether or not it is worth the hassle.
I have decided I shall never deal with this company again. The products simply do not merit this level of effort and involvement in order for the customer to receive their items.
Absolutely shocking way to run a business. Unfortunately I certainly do not seem to be an isolated case.

I ordered a game that shipped April 12th. I was provided an incorrect tracking number initially andwas told to wait 30 days to file a lost in transit claim.
After 30 days I messaged to advise that it has not arrived and tracking has not updated. LRG waited two days to reply and then replied with a screenshot stating that it updated after the 30 days (May 14th) to say "Shipping information Received" and to wait another 30 days (now 60 days total) and didn't go ahead with the lost claim as expected based on their own dates provided. No attempt to correct the situation whatsoever. This is on top of their site providing incorrect links to customers for tracking as well. Terrible experience from all angles.

Don't mind waiting for my items but can they ship it in a better box and put some bubble wrap to protect it for God's sake.If I'm spending this kind of money I would expect you to spend a few more pennies to get a better box. Boxes are cheap. Also been seeing more people have the same problem. Will not be buying from them again.

This company has gone to the toilet...
The wait times have become longer and longer on CEs despite gaining more IPs and income with each release.
Over the past few months,they have done some shady stuff. Joe had a "limited run" on his game (revenge of the bird king) separate from limited run, even having metal jesus rocks claiming its the rarest ps4 physical game. This was just a promo to get people to buy a 1 cent game physically for much more at a convention. There was also the Astro Mini situation where they said all the games were translated to English, then deleted the tweet a day before it launches because it was just the box translated to English and for much more than amazon japan.
Worse, they had decided to publish the remaster sam and max save the world. No big deal right? Well, this version had some jokes cut out and a VA replaced causing cries of censorship. When it was brought up via a bounding into comics article in the discord, one of the users caused the conversation to get political and tried to bring gamergate (a movement where a dev was sleeping with a journalist and used her ex to get the news media on her side, then it was exposed and now the media is still recovering (or dying) from the aftermath with devs and political driven people still trying to use it as a hate group despite a lack of evidence to prove this) into the conversation by attacking the website. Instead of stopping her or calming the conversation down, the mods did nothing (with one agreeing and adding more to the gamergate fire) and LimitedRunJosh moved on to defending the censorship with such hidden gems like "Y'all realize how many jokes are in Sam & Max right?", "complaining about four or five jokes being changed in a game that has literally thousands of jokes, is a whole new level", and "no one ever finished the original version and said, man that joke about the hot fifteen-year-old was so memorable that I hope it never gets changed". I have screenshots of this entire event, and these quotes came directly from the discord conversation as it was happening.
This is a company that doesn't give a crap about you. They don't address the problem at hand and try making excuses for it. Back that with customer service that is rude and disrespectful, and I'm not shocked LimitedRunJosh would say something so hypocritical (since the point of Limited Run games is perseveration and censorship is everything that goes against). I left the discord, and will never purchase anything from this company again.
Your company had multiple chances to actually stop the situation from happening, yet Josh and his mods didn't and defended the thing they were complaining to be fighting against. Majorly disappointed in this company.

Only reason they continue to exist are the exclusive physical games they sell. Orders are placed withoutknowing how long it will take for delivery and when you ask for information you are insulted by their community managers in Facebook.

I know LRG gets a bum wrap but that is because it is a site for collectors and collectors are very particular.Also noticed buyers on LRG are very impatient. LRG offer rare physical game purchases and if it weren’t for them many of the people complaining wouldn’t even get the chance to buy their stuff...they are legit also

They stop answering their email after awhile. I placed an order that I wanted to be cancel after several months of being pushed forward in its release date.So I decided to cancel my order. The woman I talked to was helpful (in the beginning) she asked me for my Email that my PayPal account is connected to, I sent that information over to her and days went by and I still heard nothing.
She finally got back to me that she didn’t receive the information after I sent a request on how my cancellation process was going. so I sent my PayPal email again to her. I still haven’t heard anything and as it stands now, I just lost $65 and there is no way of getting in touch with the woman or any other representative from limited run games. This will be a lesson learned, that I will never deal with this company again in anyway. Give me my money back!

I placed an order for a few in-house items. After 2 weeks of no word I emailed asking for an update.The employee at the other end replied with a cut-paste response that either didn’t answer my questions, or denied them entirely. After doing some digging through their faq, i found answers that contradicted what this employee said. I gave them one star because they offer a decent product, but their customer support and shipping procedures are some of the worst I have ever encountered. If you reach out to the company, expect infuriatingly patronizing responses.
