Behavior of all staff, from Pilots to back office appears as LOT is going out of business.

Flew in May 2021during the pandemic. They served complimentary food on a 1,5h flight,which means over half of the plane didn’t wear their masks. 300 people in a closed environment without their masks. The crew never enforced wearing masks either. Felt extremely unsafe and uncomfortable as I was flying due to family emergency and had to meet my grandparents the next day who are very vulnerable. No real covid safety whatsoever.read more

1h waiting to disembark, than 1h in a queue for border control, people waiting with only 15m time left for connection flight but all LOT crew go in crowds with priority.Shame and never again.read more

By their own admission they made a mistake meaning my flight was cancelled without my knowledge (only found out hours before the flight when I tried to check in).As I had to get on that flight I had to pay a huge amount of money to rebook. This was over a month ago and nothing has been resolved. They say they will call back but don’t and don’t respond to emails. I am beyond frustrated and angry.read more

Flight Warsaw-Zurich, Due to full rhinoplasty I couldn’t do covid test (confirmed on the paper from my doctor).The flight was for important medical reasons - I am resident of Switzerland with permit. I even asked in Embassy and they said that papers from doctor will be enough to fly to Switzerland without test. Apparently not enough for Chopin Airport and LOT employees- I paid for my flight, I didn’t even get Boarding Pass. They just said that I can’t fly without test and that’s my problem if I can’t do it. They didn’t give a damn f about actual regulations in Switzerland but kept saying that’s the rules in Switzerland. The shift manager apparently never heard about any exceptions. Fk LOT.read more

My mom was due to travel to Copenhagen via Warsaw yesterday, when LOT turned her down at check-in without a proper explanation or a written justification!They referred briefly to a wrong type of visa, which was not correct - her papers were in order: visa, Covid test, justification to enter Denmark - everything! LOT personnel had no clue what they were talking about. What a great way of earning money - selling tickets that legitimate passengers can’t use... now we are stuck with a voucher we can’t use either, because LOT can’t guarantee that my mom can be admitted to the flight!
I get the whole COVID circus, but passengers should not be at mercy of the airlines, that don’t have their stuff under control!read more
