Save your money. Worst and most expensive dating app ever! In 6 months I went on one date,which was the worst experience of my life. I was constantly messaaged by men who thanked me for looking at their profiles (which I never did). Especially men that were 30 years older than me or had no teeth! Yes, true story! Was just awful and then I was debited for 6 months regardless of wanting to leave. Scammers! If you want to date Worzel Gummidge, then maybe this app is for you.

I don’t usually post reviews but I felt duty bound to do so as I have had such an awful experience with Match.com and want to warn other people,ladies in their 50s in particular, like me. I came to realise that scammers operate on the site. Most of them I could spot from anomalies in the profiles or the way that their messages were written. In two cases I wasn’t sure, but after returning their messages it became clear these people were not who they said they were. Now I have received two friend requests on Facebook from scammers also. Is this a coincidence in terms of timing? Or could my details have been shared by the Match.com scammers with their fellow scammers who are now trying a different way to try to get access to me? I have reported the fake profiles to Match.com and also profiles containing nearly nude photos and in one case a very crude user name. I’ve done this to protect other female users, but the fact these things have not been picked up by Match.com makes me wonder just how much monitoring of the site takes place. I have since discovered an article online from 2019 which shows that in the US the FTC sued Match.com for using profiles they knew to be fake to encourage users to subscribe. This is in the public domain and I would encourage you to read it. As I said I don’t usually post reviews but I wanted to warn other ladies out there that you may have a similar experience. If you are reading this and are from Match.com please do not respond to my review. As you can probably tell I am already upset and do not want to hear from you on this platform or any other. Thank you for reading to the end.

This is a review for uk.match.com. A terrible experience, and this was my first with match.com (andwill be the last).
I managed to login to a pre-registered account which I had opened a couple of months ago, but never used. Stupidly, once I logged in I upgraded my membership, with the vain hope of getting somewhere.
I updated my profile, added information and pictures, and got some views. I thought I would come back after a few hours. To my surprise, I was unable to log in numerous times, despite entering the correct password. Tried to reset the password, but got no reset email, despite numerous tries. So now I'm locked out of my original paid account, and have to contact my bank to see if it is possible to stop any rebilling.
To reproduce the login problem, I created a free account with another email address, and you guessed it, managed to get the "invalid credentials" message again with the correct login credentials.
Being a programmer, I was curious as how and why logins with correct credentials were being rejected. Checking the network request logs on my browser, during a login, to my horror, I discovered that the login password and username are sent to the server in plaintext, which means anyone with enough technical knowhow can intercept your login details.
There is no support of any kind. The help section says as much. They don't care.
Whoever operates this site should be investigated, and shut down. They clearly process payments, but can't be bothered to actually run it properly. It is a fraud.

Made the mistake of trying match.com again after a couple years away. I left because of deceptive billing practices and false matching and likes they create in an attempt to keep users engaged.Like before, as I neared the end of my term, I could no longer access my account settings or change my password. I received an error message multiple times and was directed to email customer support. I attempted this process multiple times over a few weeks with no luck. Of course during this process they withdrew double the membership fee I originally signed up for and they still have not resolved access to my account. I can navigate all areas of my account accept for my membership section. Very dishonest business approach and shocked I was dumb enough to use match.com again. Biggest crooks in the online dating world. Won't make the same mistake again. Users beware....this dating services is worse than a third rate gym membership when attempting to cancel. Steer clear!!!

Most of the guys on match after contacting women, try to move onto WhatsApp and demand nude photos.I have not met a guy who actually wanted a relationship. It should rename itself to hookupforsex.com. Would be more appropriate. There are also scammers on the site, looking to con women out of money. Save yourself from disappointed and try elsewhere.
