I'm helping a friend who is in a very similar situation to people using this site.I am his proxy with ownership of the situation. McAfee took renewal money out of his account one month before the end of expiry and has zero customer service to rectify the situation. Please look at all the other reviews where everyone is being conned out of their hard earned cash. I don't need to repeat it all here as the pattern is the very same. We now need to protect our computers against the Virus provider. McAfee.com and that is very scary. We are locking them out and so should every one else.

Spent 4 hours with 3 techs , but still no one could help in installing my software,so they raised to level2 and someone gna contact me within 24 hours. Because of this I couldnot finish my project on time, I am never gna use this antivirus again in my life

In December 2018 I purchased a 2 year anti virus subscription from Mcafee. In the first year,no problems but for whatever reason they cancelled my subscription and left me unprotected. I have provided proof to Mcafee that they have charged me for a service I did not receive. After countless emails back and forth Mcafee refuse to grant me a refund. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY.

Avoid Auto Renew and Customer Service Script Drones

In Short: Never use the auto renew on mcafee services unless you want to get overcharged and avoidspeaking to customer services as they are script reading drones that have lost the ability to think for themselves. The agents have no extention/surname to identify who you are speaking to so there are no consiquences to their actions. Disabled auto renew when taking out the product a year ago, 1 year later the auto renew happened anyway and took £79.99 from my accout without warning. Spoke to customer service who offered me lots of reduced prices and eventually advised I would get a refund. more than the 5 working days have passed and no refund. Called back again to be told I hadn't called up and got told again I would get a refund in 5 working days. Was told I would be put on hold but advised I didnt want to be and it happened anyway then when asking to speak to their manager i had to wait on hold again. customer advisor hung up on me.
