Been a xiaomi fan for years and have liked the idea and innovation goals behind there work.It is crazy to think how a Chinese brand changes my view on what is your moneys worth. Yet for some some products thats true. But In xiaomi i trust I can have a product I'm proud to own for its price and have no issues in there quality. In fact I've only used 2 phones. Previously a redmi note 4 and a new one just purchased the poco x3. Cant wait to use another product from them at a great price. Yes there are some reviews out there of people complaining about xiaomi. But in truth its a android phone just like the big brands and they are not without issues themselves. Android is free and just like any user downloading an app. Free means ads, unless you use an adblocker. Developers need there income and given an app to you for free means a few ads. Nothing to do with device. Data forget it everywhere has your data. Just be sure minded bout your own security and keep regular checks just like any android device. Read up on xiaomi and wiki it or even talk to users whom are trusted to the brand. You won't be disappointed. I've had no issues and will continue to purchase xiaomi products for the value and quality they aspire to create . :)

I bought this MI 9T Pro at AUD 592. I've only used it for 15 months, then out of no where the screen black out.I tried to contact Xiaomi, they don't provide support, nor repair. All local repairers don't have parts. They offer to buy parts and change the screen for $250, repair time 2 weeks, which doesn't worth a try due to the risk involved, as all photos, contacts, banking apps are in the mobile phone that I was unable to back-up due to the black screen suddenly happened without any warning sign.
It's very frustrating not only in money terms, but also all the data in the phone that will be lost.
This is my 2nd Xiaomi mobile phone, and the previous one is a Xiaome Redmi Note 3, which didn't last long either.
I strongly suggest DO NOT buy this brand, due to its poor quality and poor service. They have a service line that you could hardly be able to connect to.

Do not order directly with Xiaomi UK. My new Poco F3 has poor connections to both mobile and Wifi,it is not fit for purpose. 3 months later, I am still awaiting to return to Xiaomi UK. The after sale service team is polite but after 5 long calls later, each representative had promised a return envelope to be sent out. Each one had promised a follow up email. I am still waiting. I had even offered to send it at my cost in order to get a refund but they would not accept.
I was a Xiaomi fan (for 3 years) but with this incompetent post sales service, lack of quality control, I am afraid I will not trust them again.

Ordered 2 smart watches and a phone black friday deals 2020. Was supposed to be delivered 22/12 and went missing at a UPS depot.This was raised and an investigation was launched. UPS have admitted that it went missing whilst with them so why on feb 28th am I still waiting for a conclusion to a pointless investigation???
I have rang so many times, been given so many different excuses/reasons. I'm tired of being on hold and being told logistics is dealing with it.
Really they should ring UPS between them figure out how my parcel went missing and give me my replacement ASAP.

Just don't order from them.
Called for an ETA - I was told its up to 17(!!!!!) WORKING days.
Customer service agent was not able to cancel order for me,he was also unable to connect me to TM,waiting for call back time - up to 48hrs.
Decided to cancel my order.And guess what? ETA for refund is.. . Up to 10 WORKING DAYS, so I can't even order phone from different place, and I need phone Now not in next month...
It's a joke not a company. Maybe they make good phones, but just don't order from them.

Absolutely disgusting firm don’t buy anything from them you won’t get it.
I ordered a note 9 phone onthe 25th of Jan on a 24hr delivery and as of today the 24th of feb I’ve still not received it
They blamed ups who did a full investigation
They refunded Xiaomi but I have contacted them at least 7 times each time they say the same rubbish. They are investigating it then last week they said they will send a replacement. That didn’t come now they are back to saying investigation again. They are a complete joke
Don’t use unless you want to throw your money away
