Reviewed on 2021-04-13T16:29:29

Sadly this site tries to say it supports women's rights. Sadly it is clearly a pro lefti bunch whoundermine women's rights to female only spaces It does not respect female biology. It undermines women's right to female only sports. In blocks anyone that is willing to state biological facts. This bunch promotes "trans ideology" that pushes puberty blockers on vulnerable kids. AVOID AND GET YOUR ADVICE FROM REAL WOMEN... ****** After a reply from Mumsnet, I will indeed reply to them AGAIN, but I sense they will continue to ignore Biological facts and support the LIE that biological sex change is possible. It is not, a "trans woman" remains biologically male for life, even if castrated and full of estrogen. Supporting such a lie undermines womens rights to female private spaces and female only sports. Just stating the same generic reply is tiresome. It is not a debate. Mumsnet is clearly discriminates against FREE SPEECH, BIOLOGICAL FACTS, INTERSEX RIGHTS, as well as FEMALE RIGHTS. The same ideology is appeasing the use of puberty blockers on vulnerable kids. MUMSNET MUST WAKE UP, it must support medical facts, and biological facts. I fear it is scared of commercial issues, BUT any right minded person supports womens right to female only spaces, and understands biological sex change is IMPOSSIBLE. I will update this with the reply i get from Mumsnet, - ************************** Sent email Wednesday 20th April replying to Mumsnet, - no reply as yet, I had emailed them 4 times in last 3 weeks regarding the same issue, with NO ACTUAL EXPLANATION OF BAN, -Words used they did not like "Delusional" It is delusional to believe in something that is impossible.... Biological sex change is impossible (FACT) Delusion is a form of mental illness. The word "delusional" was considered inappropriate for people who actually believe biological sex change is possible. It is not a debatable subject. Why is "Mumsnet" scared of supporting biological facts? Gravity is real, if I denied its existence I would be delusional . Come on Mumsnet - ************************ Friday 23rd - Still no reply from Mumsnet, as expected they clearly cannot explained how they can reconcile their statement that they support women's rights to female private spaces and female only sports WITH their support for biological men to have access to female private spaces and female only sports. They want to sit on fence on a biological fact, it is NOT a debate, - come on Mumsnet, who do you actually support? 1) Women's hard earned rights to female private spaces, including female only prisons, female refuges, female NHS wards, female changing rooms, OR 2) Biological males who demand access to female private spaces and female only sports? Simple surely? Biological sex change is impossible... IT IS NOT A DEBATE - State where you stand? The failure to support women is a clearly indication of how you undermine women, NOT support them. ******************* Reply from Mumsnet. They stood by their ban, they again tried to suggest that using terms of "delusion" were against debate. My point had been, and remains, it is not a debate. They continue to dodge the questions I have raised, and they continue to support the MYTH that biological sex change is possible. Mumsnet will continue to silence women's voices on this matter. Make your own mind up... They fail to stand up for women's rights, and make weak generic PC statements to avoid being called "trans phobic'... FACTS ARE NOT TRANSPHOBIC "You can twist perception but reality won't budge" "Facts are facts from Nome to Rome" Be aware that Mumsnet prefer to support biological men who rape, than vulnerable women in prison.

All they do is tear you down.

Joined the site an hour ago and I’ve already deleted my account! Asked a simple question about my new and first pregnancy and I got absolutely slated.I thought it was a site where moms can get together and give good advice, a safe place but it’s far from it! I would avoid at all costs!!!!

Misleading and subjective

Reviewed on 2021-03-16T05:45:11

Mumsnet carry a number of reviews which are way too subjective and inspired by personal motives - given that I’ve stopped looking at the website. It’s not objective. There should be a way of taking down those reviews which cause offence or are demonstrably untrue. Some of its pinned comments are extremely elderly and misleading and most importantly untrue and defamatory. With no obvious takedown procedure mumsnet might be held liable for the content posted by its users. I’d say it’s only a matter of time before someone is annoyed enough to take action and start a test case.

I was New to Mumsnet

Reviewed on 2021-02-11T11:23:16

I was New to Mumsnet. And having posted a simple and honest statement of my experiences with a particular company,I wasn’t expecting the patronising criticism that followed. I tried to amend the post but couldn’t so I asked Mumsnet to delete it because it was distressing me but they refused to. They didn’t offer an option to edit the post, despite, I subsequently learnt, it being in their guidelines that they could. Obviously won’t be using their unhelpful and frankly bitchy platform again.

I would love to know who these people are in real life......

Reviewed on 2020-12-22T11:55:13

.......Because in real life I have never met such snobby, snippy, opinionated nasties as on Mumsnet. Don’tget me wrong there are also some lovely kind people on there who have given me great advice in the decade or so I have frequented this site but I’ve decided to give it up for the new year especially since the Covid virus (don’t go on Mumsnet if you are looking to quell your fears of the pandemic it’ll leave you panicked). It’s a shame because when I first joined my children were babies and I loved getting advice and support from other parents but over the years it has morphed into less of help for parents (many non parents on a site called Mumsnet??) but a place where people just want to belittle others and show off who is richer or more educated/intelligent than the others (probably all a fantasy in their heads though). If you are looking for support then I suggest one of the fabulous Facebook support groups out there. If you are looking for somewhere to whinge and moan or you are a keyboard warrior/troll looking to shoot someone down with flames and make them feel crap for the rest of the day then Mumsnet is perfect for you.

I'm so unsure abotu this one. You can get a tons of great info here since there are actually many wonderful experts contributing. On the other hand, it should be moderated a bit more strictly - some topics are really toxic and I'm not sure what to think about that.
