Very very disappointed and annoyed that it has got to this stage. It is very rare to leave any reviewhowever Neil Patel has been a complete joke and a fraud.
After reading through some of the experiences from others, it has now confirmed that we are not the only ones and Neil Patel are a fraud. Please do not use them. If you are using them, please be more demanding on reporting and updates.
Going into a Pandemic we decided to work with Neil Patel on the digital side of our business. After a number of initial meetings, we started working with their team to take our business to the next level. We are a well-established company that is specialists in our field.
To date, we have been working with them for 9 months. We have spent over $50,000 and the return on investment has been less than $4000 (which is questionable due to our Christmas promos).
It really has been awful and they have no explanation.
We agreed to work and focus on key areas of the business where we spent hours creating content and videos/webinars based on the advice of NP.
None of the work has ever been completed, we have been sent screenshots of reports, however these reports have still yet to be backed up with proof that it is our work because if it was, we would have at least had a few leads come in. We have had NO leads come in from our main campaign. Usually, when we do marketing, we look at each area of the process to see where needs to be changed, with this project, we actually have had no leads. Not even an influx or an increase
The company enquiries did not improve AT ALL throughout this time period, and the initial months we were waiting on NP instructions, however all promises of completion etc were never produced.
The account manager we had, would always turn our attention to additional work and was unable to show us what had been started on, let alone completed whenever we was on our weekly calls.
Tip to others: Ask them then and there to show you, chances are, they have not even started the work. Ask or regular reports and make sure they send you the full report, not screenshots. When they ask you to sign up to other software, make sure they actually use this, as we have been spending hundreds of dollars every month on software that they were never actually using.
The worst thing about all of this is the way our complaint has been dealt with.
The manager, who could not answer any of our questions, sent us a pathetic reply highlighting changes the company had made to google spend, (all took place in the last 15 days). and ignored all of the important questions. Also rather than explain to us the reasons our account hasn't been performing, they just said they have done some work on it.
Spending $50,000 for work to be done is not why we signed up at all. This is meant to be a top Digital Marketing Agency and they are not, not even close.
The sales guy who signed us up has also gone missing and ignores our emails, because he knows he has sold us the dream
We will be taking this further and we are still waiting on a full response to our complaint
As mentioned, we are a well established company, experts in our industry, with some amazing content. Neil Patel have not been able to improve our business and we can quite confidently say, it is the worst investment we have made
We recommend staying away from Neil Patel.

I have been working with the Neil Patel Group for about 6 months. I am a small business owner and the amount paid for their contract is significant for me (~$40k annually).I don't doubt they know their stuff from an SEO perspective but the work on my site has not been generating significant results. To date, there has only been an increase in users from 11 per day to 15 users per day. For the amount of money I am paying, I need stronger results. However, when I discuss this with the Manager / Director, she simply tells me that this is great and in line with their expectations. When I ask to cancel the remainder of the contract they tell me it is impossible unless I pay the rest of the contract out. To me, this is terrible service. For a small business owner, $40k is a lot of money. After having paid $20k, users have grown by 4 per day and they insist this is good and will not let me out of contract. It has been a bad experience and I would warn other small business owners to think twice before engaging with them.

Had an extremely arrogant encounter with Max Chen from NP.
I wanted to inquire about N.P helping me out with "scaling my business",for the launch of a product, which i have a decent budget for.
Before even hearing about my business or what i am trying to achieve he proceeded to tell me, because you dont have a website up and running "i dont think you are ready for us to help you?" we typically only deal with businesses who want to scale and who can spend between 1,200-30,000 per month. With the average spend being 3-5k.
I asked him 1. How does he know i am not ready for him to help me if he doesn't even know what my business is and is trying to achieve nor does he know what budget i have? Being $60k for the 3 month launch?
I told him i am very disappointed at being dismissed from the get go without even explaining what i am looking to achieve, how does he know he cant help me if he doesnt even know what it is i am doing? I said i won't be referring his business to anyone as the customer service has been atrocious.
He then proceeded to tell me that NP gets over 160,000 organic views a day and they don't give time to people they cant help, so he doesnt need the referral or business.
My view: If this is the culture you are trying to promote NP, then it comes across as being arrogant and narcissistic. Maybe you should read some of your own books.

I have purchased a lifetime subscription, hope it will be such and the product will develop and become as great as SemRush:)I'm quite satisfied with the functionality. It has all the needed stuff to develop your online business, check and track keywords and your competitors, etc. Thank you for allowing me to buy a lifetime subscription for the nice price of $100.
I should also say about Neil's education materials and blog - they are just awesome. I learn from him for about 2 years now. If you know nothing about marketing and SEO, go ahead and dive into his posts. The material is easy to understand. He is doing an outstanding job with sharing such valuable information in such an affordable way. Thank you for that Neil, I wish you good luck!
I should say that I am quite frustrated with the negative reviews here, but I also hope that one day his agency will help me to get more traffic.

Shocking customer support.
I had cancelled my order ages ago, yet i did not notice they were still charging me for months,for more than the amount of a lifetime membership.
I told them i was willing to accept the lifetime membership and they can keep the money. They refused, stated it was nothing they could do (Even though i had cancelled it and they were still charging me). They gave me one months payment back as compensation!! Even though i was paying months for something i had cancelled.
Customer support is completely non-existent and unhelpful.

I signed up for the Ubersugest Neil Patel plan. I spent countless hours using the website and following the instructions to promote quixsound(dot)com.I paid the fees and during this time our web traffic actually went down by 70% . Don't fall for it. They also claim to have a money back guarantee . I canceled and received nothing.

For the level of popularity of Neil Patel, his customer service is virtually non-existence.They don't show a support email or phone number on the website. I purchased a lifetime plan on Ubersuggest, thinking it was an awesome deal. But then it turns out the app was faulty, while fidgeting with the app, I accidentally upgrade (there is no confirmation, if you hit "Upgrade" it charges you right a way). So I try to contact Support for a refund. Never have I had to go through hoops to get to customer support like this. There's no phone or support email listed. First I tried the Contact form. The next 2 days, no response. Then I tried the chat box, twice, for days, no answer. Then I had to dig through the website FAQ to find a mention of a support email. I tried to email that support email explain the situation and asked a refund. There was 1 response saying the app wasn't really faulty. No mentioning of my refund at all. I asked again but no reply after that. And then I found out there was a refund in my bank account, but the wrong amount. I stated clearly in my request that I wanted the upgrade refunded, not the original plan. It's been almost a month.
If you like cheap and faulty product and crappy service, go head. For me, it's just not worth all the hassle.
