Every page is stamped with the last time both parents viewed the page and every entry is stamped with who made it and when it was made. The OFW® website produces clear, compelling records for court. Increase the peace, end high conflict parenting in divorce and shield your children.

Absolutely insane!!!

I am done. Useless site. I have to authenticate my fingerprint periodically? Why? I have used finger print to get into Google for years. But a few months after starting to use OFW I have to sign in with username/password because they need to confirm my fingerprint is still mine? Wow. So I do not recall the login information and I request it. No code came to my phone. So now they want me to contact them, for a simple sign in! Yeah right! At this point, you can fluck right off! As of today I will never use OFW again. Michael Brant

OFW is just an overpriced 1990's version of yahoomail. In the almost 7 years that I have used this"communication tool" I have seen no updates to the grossly outdated system. The messaging service doesn't support proper message threads. If you need to communicate solely through the tool, it becomes very difficult to manage over time. The only acceptable word I can currently think of to describe it is clunky. I've never even used the calendar, medical, and expenses section. I attempted to set them up... but after several frustrating issues with exporting files and dates I gave up. So, between the two of us... our co-parenting family pays about $200 a year for an extremely crappy email system. Customer service is unbelievably bad. I've had customer service issues since my initial sign up, but my most recent experience was the worst. In March my subscription ended and I received a renewal notice. My bank was charged the annual fee shortly after. The withdrawal cleared, and I have proof of this transaction. My co-parent and I don't communicate often... so it isn't out of the ordinary to go a few months with no OFW messages. In May I received a text message from my co-parent asking if I had received any of his recent OFW messages because he noticed that they had not been opened or responded to. I had not. When I tried to log into OFW I received a message that my membership had expired and I needed to renew. I called customer service. The representative I spoke with was not able to address the payment issue and forwarded me to her supervisor. The call immediately went to voice-mail. I left a message explaining my issue, gave account info, and contact info. I waited almost a week before calling back. Again, the representative could not help with my payment issue and forwarded my call to her supervisor... and it went to voice-mail. I repeated my previous message, and let them know this was my second call. No response. In June, my co-parent decided to renew my account membership. After he informed me of the renewal I requested the name of the representative and date that he contacted OFW. I called back and a representative informed me that no representative with the name given worked for OFW and that no record exists of my co-parents call. I believe he did call. Once again, I was forwarded to the same voice-mail. I left another message. It's been over a month, and after several more attempts I still have not received any contact from OFW. Do not agree to OFW in mediation or court until you've done your own research. In my opinion OFW deserves their low rating. I've discovered over the years that other free apps are available for co-parenting. Most have good reviews. Unfortunately, my co-parent has been duped into believing this is the only communication tool the courts will accept. Do not let your lawyer manipulate you into believing that other communication tools, personal email and texts can't be utilized in court if necessary. I've had plenty of lawyers assure me they can. You should also know that OFW has a referral program for lawyers. Lawyers receive $50 for every client that signs up. Consider your child's age... $200 a year adds up... find a free app for your co-parenting family and save all of that money for your actual child/children rather than this overpriced scam. This is just another way for lawyers to drain money from divorced families.

I am into my second year now and I pay…

I am into my second year now and I pay for my co parents subscription too. The option is there for him to use to compare the at anytime. This is a better way in terms of tools and conflict management as we have been divorced for 2 years. Sadly, he still wants to fight and refuses to use this. My ex continues to send letters to my Lawyer so I incur costs. Our Family Wizard and mediation is my answer to combat this endless conflict. This tool has everything you need to co parent in a professional and reasonable manner. Its simple and easy to use, and I share moments, expenses, emails, and I am about to upload the agreed parenting schedule through mediation. I can keep all my documents and logs and opt for sharing or private entries. It’s a great way to arrange things and for document control out of your inbox. There is an app on my phone and I highly recommend this along with countless parents, professionals and family law experts who have all publicly provided reviews. I have spoken to customer service on 3 occasions who have sent me logs on request and been helpful. My experience was positive.

Our Family Wizard Needs to be Investigated

Reviewed on 2019-09-30T17:03:45

This company is in the business of keeping divorced couples divided and at odds over the raising of their children. That it is ordered by the court is egregious and should be illegal. I should not have how I choose to communicate with my ex in regard to the raising of my children dictated by the municipal court, who I am sure are gaining financially from their partnership with this website. This website actually dissuades face to face interactions and believes email is a better way to deal with issues as important as the raising of one's children and profits from it with their archaic, outdated website that actually endorses the violation of one's privacy by endorsing the invitation of outsiders to view correspondence between an ex and their ex spouse. This website should be investigated to ascertain if they are paying municipalities to hawk their services to 'non-custodial parents' as part of a court order, that cannot even afford them and then shut down on that basis. I was threatened with incarceration for not using the website. That's a very positive way in which to get someone to endorse one's product, 'If you don't use the website we have told you to use you will be incarcerated until such time as you find it reasonable to utilize the website in question.'
