Planguru experience March 2016
I have used Planguru in the past while in a Controller position with a manufacturing company. I had retired from that position in 2014 but wanted to explore part time work preparing forecasts and budgets and decided to use this product again. The sales team have been very supportive and accommodating during my trial evaluation and I have decided to purchase it.
Excellent forecasting and cash flow software for small companies
Overall, while a bit time-consuming to learn how to use it on the front end, I would recommend this software and purchase it again. I like this software because it: 1.provides lots of functionality and flexibility for budgeting and forecasting 2.downloads from Quickbooks and Excel 3.links to Excel spreadsheets 4.archives the final budget and rolls forward by month 5.provides forecasted and actual financials including cash flow statement 6.provides budget to actual reports 7.utilizes online videos to provide support 8.provides all of this at an affordable price 9.helpful employees with quick response time The only problems I have had are: 1.a file will occasionally get corrupted for some reason (I just make a backup copy periodically so I won't have to re-create anything) 2.I would like it to be more user-friendly on the front end or have pop-up dialogue boxes with explanations rather than having to watch an entire video to decide which box to check.

Great reporting and budgeting tool
I've used Plan Guru for about 15 years + and love it for management reporting, budgeting, and planning.
Easy and efficient.
PlanGuru was exactly what I needed - the ability to forecast easily based on budgets and historical actuals. Hours of manual Excel work a month has been cut down significantly, and the setup was straightforward and without an excessive amount of time or effort.
Good and Useful Product
PlanGuru is well done and very useful for me and some of my clients. It is reasonably priced and does a great job of doing what it says it will do. Support is responsive and good. I find PlanGuru very useful.
