I had some financial disputes with this company and they decided not to take any money from me so as not to spoil our relationship. So now I have the best memories of the company Primus.

I wouldn't call it reliable internet

I wouldn't call it reliable internet, but you do get internet for 8-10 hours of a 24 hour day. If you need consistent internet then its probably not a good choice.

My experience with Primus.ca's service has been, to put it mildly, deeply unsatisfactory. From inconsistent service to technical support that feels like a deliberate waste of time, it's been a frustrating journey that I wouldn't wish on anyone. The core issue lies with their technical support, which is, at best, ineffective. When you finally get through after what often feels like an eternity on hold, you're met with a barrage of account verification questions that are shockingly intrusive. I've been asked about my specific service plan and even my bank's name – questions more personal and detailed than those posed by my own financial institution. It's baffling and frankly, quite alarming, how much personal information they demand just to assist with a service issue. This level of interrogation before even addressing the problem is a significant hurdle and a major turn-off. Beyond the intrusive questioning, the actual technical assistance provided is often lacking. It feels as though agents are ill-equipped to handle complex issues, leading to endless transfers between departments and a cycle of repeating the same information without resolution. This not only prolongs the problem but also adds to the immense frustration, making you question the value of even calling them in the first place. In summary, if you're considering Primus.ca for your service needs, be prepared for a potentially poor customer experience. Their technical support is a significant weak point, characterized by intrusive verification processes and a general inability to provide effective assistance, turning what should be a simple support call into a prolonged and irritating ordeal.

Incompetent

The employees all have such a heavy Indian accent I can barely understand them. They overcharged me because they are incompetent and now I have to wait 2 months for a refund and I am paying interest on my credit card on their mistake. The internet is horribly slow as well and I have only been with them a couple of months. Definitely will be looking for another provider. Not sure how you stay in business Primus.

I had internet disconnection for over 10 days and they refused to send a technician because they were not based in Calgary!! terrible service and terrible connection

Drops all the time

Drops all the time. Help is in Egypt too funny. Increased prices without advising me. Horrible company

If I could give them 0 stars I would

If I could give them 0 stars I would. Their internet has gone out time and time again this year and they don't answer the phones when it does go out, nor is it ever reported. I work remotely and they have lost me so much money. On Friday, when they went out yet again, FOR THE ENTIRE WEEKEND, I subscribed to another subscriber.

Run the other way, internet doesnt work

This company is a scam!! Internet goes out every night!! We've had it for 2 months and have called for support numerous times, every person that answers, if they speak English tells us something different. Now we got a bill for double the price we signed up for. Do not use this company.
