Printjet.net, a scam? You decide

On my opinion it’s a scam: We bought a refurbished printer from them online, and they said 300$ for rush delivery which we paid, two days later nothing had shipped so I contacted them and they claimed to have sent me an email informing me that the shipping was wrong on their website and was actually 1500$! I was very upset but needed the machine as I was already losing money on the wait so I said fine ship it normal since it would arrive the same time based on where we were in the week. The next day, a very rude technician of theirs called to say that contrary to what they say on their website, the products were not in stock and were in fact refurbished to order and they were going to start on mine but he wanted to tell me “as a favor” that I needed to buy a compressed air dryer to make this work!! At this point I told them to cancel my order and return my money. The lady that owns the place I guess emailed me saying that I can definitely cancel if I want but that there was a miscommunication....etc. in good faith I told her that if she provides the dryer I would take the machine but if she can’t then I would like to cancel! No reply! So I contact them again and said that I hadn’t heard from them and if they weren’t going to provide the dryer then cancel my order. Again no reply! Then a day later I get an email saying my printer had shipped?!?!? So I wrote them back immediately and said that they should recall it if they had not included the dryer and I got a reply from an underling that things were included. Well the machine finally arrived and guess what, No dryer! So I contacted them again and the woman who runs the place now had a very different confrontational tone and said that she doesn’t know what a compressed air dryer is and that she had never heard of one in her 30 years and that if I wanted to return it I would have to pay a 20% restocking fee and shipping!! I of course said I wouldn’t and if they won’t return my money I would share my experience online and I would sue them for my money. They had their lawyer send me a letter threatening me that they would sue me if shared my experience. I am in the process of suing them and they offered my lawyer to waive the 20% restocking if I paid for the shipping which I refuse to do because I repeatedly told them not to ship! But after hearing about all kinds of lawsuits jamming up the legal system, I decide to just let it go and use the machine and move on with my life...except that their machine turned out to be defective and won’t start up!!! So they leave me no option. In my opinion any savings you might imagine with these people are not worth it, but from reputable companies with proper customer service is so worth the extra money
