I was recommended to use Probrand to help fulfil an urgent order and I couldn't have mad a worse mistake. I spoke to a Gary C who didn't process the order despite chasing for 3 days and it almost cost me a customer. Shockingly bad service and would never use again. Do yourself a favour and steer clear of these, I wouldn't recommend them to my worst enemy So 3 months later they reply to this review and reply with utter lies probably hoping I wouldn't bothering correcting them and just so they cant change this, here is there reply Reply from Probrand Published 23 October 2017 Dear Mr William, Thanks for taking the time to provide feedback, which we value. We are sorry to hear you felt we delivered poor service. On close inspection we have found you called us on the Thursday with your order. The team raised a proforma invoice within two hours, which unfortunately put us beyond our same day order threshold and this was communicated to you. As a result, we secured release of a temporary licence key for your software purchase. This was delivered in advance of payment to enable you to complete your install on the same day/Thursday the order was placed. We apologise if our same day response time did not meet your expectations. Our sector and technical experts always try to go the extra mile. If you would like to discuss your experience with us further please do get in touch 0800 262629. Best regards Matt I was told I had to use a partner to place this order as the distributor Avnet had messed up and quoted me a part which we couldn't sell as not a partner for that line so they recommended Probrand who would process this for us so we could fulfil the order with our customer who Avnet had already let down by delaying my order for a week, hence why this was so urgent. At 13:38 on thursday 3rd August I got the quote from Gary and I emailed back saying thanks can you send me the proforma invoice so we could pay, it wasn't sent back within 2 hours as Matt says but at 16:49 despite me chasing over 10 times via phone and email. We then paid the proforma at 17:04 and sent over a screen shot of the payment as confirmation by email at 17:07 to show it was done. Only after this and us chasing all day were we told your cut off was 4pm so it wouldn't have got done that day despite me saying how urgent this was. It then took a further 3 days to sort and we finally got the licenses from you on the Tuesday 8th August. This wasn't just down to an error as Gary kept trying to tell me but it was because you didn't even place the order with the distribution of which I was speaking to so I know for a fact what happened as I have in writing from them saying they had received nothing from you and I have your staff lying to me trying to say it wasn't you. Basically you took my money on the thursday and didn't even process the order until late Monday afternoon and I finally got the licenses Tuesday which meant my customer missed his install date and couldn't get the job done. You knew how urgent this order was having been let down by Avnet and yet you still did nothing. As I said at the start of the review Probrand are terrible, use them at your own risk. Not only are they a bad company but they also try to lie to cover their tracks. I have all the emails and happy to post them on here if helps anyone. If I could give no stars I would as even a 1 star review is too much for these
