My Randstad Experience
So, I have to say like with anyplace you have your good and your bad. I am happy to say Hayley Wilson, is definitely one of the best! She is the true definition of advocate! I never have to wonder if she cares or about her intentions. She is the embodiment of why Randstad is always my top choice for Employment. She works hard to make sure you and your placement get the best fit. She is amazing! Hayley is a 5 star Boss! She is kind, companionate and my personal favorite... full of joy! Her pleasant up beat demeanor, ease even the hard days. She gives new meaning to the words above and beyond. She's incredibly hardworking and she does it for you. I can't say enough to do her justice! She is truly an amazing and wonderful person and Boss. A true pleasure to work with and for. She has been a Blessing in my life. I'd begun to lose faith in people in humanity. Then I met you. Thank you Hayley! Thank you Randstad! Your the Best!
The leader in workplace diversity
I've worked with Randstad for about 5 years. Delivery, top talent, their commitment to workplace diversity is leading the charge on being human forward in the world of human capital and talent solutions.
Randstad USA is a scam
I was recruited by a third person on LinkedIn who said there were many vacancies with Randstad USA. I wrote an email to Linda Luxenberg and sent my resume. She said my resume needed revamping and if I did not comply with the Randstad standard I would not be presented to the client. She referred me to Stephanie. I paid for Stephanie to revamp my CV, application and LinkedIn profile. I was coerced into this. It was difficult for me to even be allowed to see the alleged vacant position with Google and the Randstad standard. I still have not heard back from the position I applied for and do not think there ever was a real position. Linda Luxenberg has a new position with LHH and I think the whole thing was a scam with the purpose of cheating money out of innoscent people.
SPAMMERS
Low-life company. "Tiffany Kahley" repeatedly sends unsolicited emails.
Toxic Culture
I worked as an internal Randstad employee for 4 years. It is a very cut-throat environment where everyone is out for themselves only. Leadership is non-existent and the company culture is BEYOND toxic. The turnover rate is insanely bad - especially for a company that prides itself on being "human forward." The pay is subpar against industry standards and they made us all contractors so they didn't have to give us benefits. They need to fire their entire leadership- from the c-suite down to the managers and completely rebuild.
Randstad is Awful. Their Recruiters are poorly trained and unprofessional too.
I applied online for a position at Randstad. Several months went by, and I heard nothing, so I moved on and found employment myself. Then one day out of the blue I received a phone call from a woman with an out-of-state phone number and a very thick Indian accent who immediately demanded that I give her my name, social security number, date of birth etc. I did not know who this woman was. She said she was with Randstad, but I was not certain. I mean who calls someone out of the blue and demands all of that sensitive information over the phone and again she was calling from an unrecognizable, out of state number. She was also very aggressive. I asked her to hold, and I called the local office and told them what was happening. I gave them her phone number and the name she had given me (the name was Marie or something very similar to that). The local office in Dallas, TX where I was living at the time told me they did not recognize the number or the name of the individual. So I clicked back over and told her that as I could not verify who she was I would not give my information to her. The call concluded. About a year later I had relocated to Atlanta, GA, and I was looking for work. So I decided to check back with Randstad. I called the local Atlanta, GA office and a very nasty rude man by the name of Chris said I was barred in their system. He refused to tell me why. I had never worked through Randstad so this was unusual. Because their recruiter Chris would give me no more information I ended up calling the office in Dallas, TX and the woman I spoke to pulled up my account, and she said 'Marie' (who was the very aggressive recruiter with the thick accent who had called out the blue and demanded my social security number, date of birth, address, etc) had placed a note in their system that I refused to give my information and that she was highly 'offended'. What the heck? Highly Offended?? I had contacted their local office and the people did not know who this woman was. Why would I give all of my personal, private information to a complete stranger who could not be verified. It turned out she was a contracted recruiter for them, but she should have known demanding all of that personal info while calling from an out-of-state number was not professional. I had no idea who she was. When I explained to the recruiter what happened they were dismissive of me and refused to correct the system. I called several people, and they were all either dismissive of me or downright rude. I even contacted Randstad HR and left several messages, and they refused to contact me. What a poor way to treat someone. Just wow. So I was blocked in their system because I refused to give my sensitive personal info to a complete stranger who called from an out-of-state number and could not be verified. Randstad could not understand this. They have a very low opinion of their workers if it's this easy to bar someone in their system. Not only did Randstad bar me in their system and dismiss my concerns and refuse to contact me after I had left several messages for their HR. they continue to spam my email with job requests. I have contacted them several times and requested they delete my profile and stop emailing me. The emails continue. I have emailed their recruiter and legal office and said I wanted it to stop. The recruiter contacted me back with a nasty, snarky response. Where does Randstad find their recruiters? They are awful. So the emails continue. I have personally unsubscribed from all emails on their site. Yet Randstad refuses to honor my request. Randstad is a joke. They are dismissive, arrogant, condescending, and rude to their workers because they are so large, and they feel they can get away with it. But I showed them. I eventually found a wonderful job with excellent benefits and I work from home. No calls. Stress-free. Great salary. I found it on my own. In addition to this I finally finished my MBA. Randstad couldn't pay me what I'm worth now. I realize the best thing to do is avoid those staffing agencies. From my experience people who work for staffing agencies are treated poorly, get no benefits or very limited benefits, and the companies often string the workers along with constant promises of eventually hiring them on permanent when most never do. It's simply far cheaper for them to keep the worker as a temporary agent. Also, the employees pay gets cut down by the staffing company, so they aren't being paid a market wage anyway and in the few instances they are it's at the very bottom of the market rate. I want the emails to stop. Randstad is an awful company and its poorly ran. They can go to he.. Just leave me alone. I realized I did not need your horrible company to find a good job.
Let Down
I didn't feel Randstaff leveled with me about job descriptions. Another issue is rude staff. No endorsement here.
