I live in Harrogate and contacted Raworths regarding a property-related matter. I emailed one of the Senior Partners, who didn’t even bother to reply — a clear disregard for my time and the trust I placed in reaching out. Based on my experience, and after reading the many negative reviews here and on Google, I now realise I was actually lucky not to receive a response — at least I avoided being let down even further. It’s disappointing to see such a lack of professionalism, which in my view borders on an ethical failure.

Extremely expensive, totally underhand and devious in maximising their profit and made a traumatic time much worse. Wish I had never contacted them.
Rude and unprofessional.
This firm, under previous, more professional and better mannered ownership was once held in high esteem. How sad now that what the Butterworths worked so hard to build is consigned to the whims of those of dubious educational backgrounds. A reputation can take years to build and yet can be lost in a moment. Ability, integrity and diligence make for a good lawyer; a smug grin and a cheap suit are still the cloak of politicians and snake oil salesmen. This is a firm of no substance and should be avoided at all costs , especially your own.
