They have a transparent development process but they seem to have to little focus on core gameplay.The space ships still feel like flying a paper airplane and the gun gameplay is still very lacking. Hoping for improvements but it's not on the roadmapread more

A game that it is worth waiting
I've started to follow the game in 2013, and the advancement is huge.Despite all these critics, primarily from players who never look for the game before and can't understand that a good game takes time.
even if you get some expensive package, you'll not be better tank to a good balance. People need to understand that CIG is a company who need to make cash to continue to improve the game by years.read more

After 6 years and after stupidly spending over a $1000 on ships all we have is an Alpha which is unplayable.The Star Citizen Alpha is massively buggy....yes we all know its an Alpha and there is not much content as there is testing and unforeseen problems can occur, but after 6 + years all we have is a massively buggy alpha and a frame rate from the 80s, you would think you were trying to play the game on a 286 or an Amiga, its practically unplayable. They have been given all this money and yet they cant even get a standalone version out with nearly $200 MILLION and a 6+ YEAR time period and yet they are still asking for money for ships that haven't even been created. I would not advise anyone to give anymore money to this company until the standalone version Squadron 42 is released. Check out glassdoor.co.uk to see how chaotic the company is being run and comments about haemorrhaging money.... and this is from previous employees.read more
