Horrible

Reviewed on 2021-03-18T16:42:17

Horrible. It took months for them to respond one time for me. Then they couldnt "find" my account even after I gave them all my details. This conveniently happened when I wanted to return a product from WOTC. They also have a skeleton crew working bugs and cam/voice so dont expect any tech support. I also want to say I have spent 1000 hours and well over a 1000 dollars as a customer

Solid, reliable but not feature packed

Reviewed on 2021-02-20T03:35:28

I've been a subscriber to Roll20 for about seven years now and they've been pretty good.Their customer support isn't the fastest and their features aren't as comprehensive as say Fantasy Grounds or Tabletop Simulator, but what they do, they do well, which is providing a reliable and relatively fast tabletop for roleplaying games to run on. The visual dice roller looks great and the interface is mostly easy to use. Overall a solid 4/5. One star taken off because their dynamic lighting system is a royal PITA to use and desperately needs an overhaul. Thankfully it has been updated recently but it's still not intuitive to use. If you don't care about that though, it's a solid system. I just wish there were more games on there.

These guys have been good to me

Reviewed on 2020-12-15T23:27:10

I purchased LMoP for $15, had a blast with minimal prep time, exactly what I paid for.I then purchased Out of the Abyss for $40, read through it, decided I didn't like it and got a full refund no questions asked. Have now purchased Storm Kings Thunder as a result and very much looking forward to playing with minimal prep. If you want to pay someone else $25 to design and place hundreds of tokens, format dozens of maps AND get the $40 adventurebook material free in an easy to navigate, hyperlinked format, these guys are for you.

Looks can be untrue.

This service looks great and actually works however the trolls and the way admin deal with these issues are very bad childish and lacking emotional intelligence.Example 1 they ban the host because the trolls say so, no research no consideration. 2. They Ban Wan IP addresses so you cannot log in to recover paid content. What a shame,I will use an alternative service that doesn't suffer from bad management and therefor offers batter value. I have declined the option to email them as they are simply so very bad at managing this website and a little more research clearly shows this is a small business, they realy need to step outside get some fresh air and apologies to there users before changing there game plan for there business. Such a great idea let down by management. "rules are meant to be broken they say, sorry virtual", they do not adhere to any form of business registered structure or management and suspect this is being run from several bedrooms even before covid. Buyer beware!
