SCIA is one of the most overrated software. It is practically un-useful in seismic zones. Yes, there is seismic analysis, but not seismic design according to EC8. For example, if you want to check your frame according to the capacity design method explicitly required by EC8, you should use another program, because SCIA does not have anything in that department. Or seismic RC walls. This fact is not mentioned anywhere in SCIA brochures. SCIA users know very well about the problems they have with reading the output which can be often misleading, especially in flat slabs, in which for average spans of columns you can receive unreal amounts of needed reinforcement, etc.
