Emails have SPAMfighter adverts added!

I cannot accept any program which adds its own advertising to my personal or business emails.I have a 3 year SPAMfighter licence but I am now uninstalling it having seen its unasked for additions to my outgoing emails. My advice - DO NOT INSTALL SPAMFIGHTER.

For personal email accounts, 100% useless. Doesn't do anything more than a hotmail account already does for free.You will be wasting your time and money trying to get this to stop all those annoying emails even reaching your junk inbox... but all your efforts will fail with this tool.

Be careful - it doesn't support IMAP email settings

I have amended this review Spamfighter engaged with me following my post. They clarified that the filter does not work for IMAP email accounts and that wasn't clear when I bought the license.Its also not the recommended email settings for my email domain. However, I'll keep an open mind - if it does what it says and keeps my inbox clear then I'll go with it.

Spam Fighter Hosted Mail Gateway Having used Spam fighter outlook addin for many years we needed totry and resolve the massive amount of spam emails we were receiving so were advised to sign up for the Spam Fighter Hosted Mail Gateway. This does capture approximately 55% of all the spam email messages however fails to stop the other 45% of spam which means we were still spending large amounts of time sorting through emails. Spam Fighter Hosted Mail Gateway was not fit for the purpose. As a Company we have now had to make a decision to move our email client to another provider who can and does capture 99.2% of spam messages allowing us to return to a normal working environment. We did request a refund for the second and third year of payment made to Spamfighter, Yet they failed to honour this. Any Company considering Spamfighter Hosted Mail Gateway should be very careful, the admin portal is very outdated and the technical support and sales support both are run by the same person.

Disappointed Software

I tried the trail software and it seemed to do the job of blocking unwanted emails.It was when I purchased the entry level software that the performance went south. The emails I placed on the block or black list kept popping back into my inbox. I keep blocking them and they keep coming back in. What I do get is Spamfighter wanting me to upgrade to the Pro level. If this is marketing they suck!

Do not buy SPAMfighter!

I joined Trustpilot specifically to write a bad review about SPAMfighter. Despite all the negative reviews on this site,I foolishly thought I would give it a go based on another review site. Well, I couldn't have been more naive. I spent $29 on a product that simply doesn't work properly on Office 365 or Outlook. (I should have smelled a rat when I clicked on the Gold Microsoft Partner logo to discover a letter dated 30/09/2018.) When I got in contact with customer support, their only advice was to uninstall and reinstall the program. I did that and it still didn't work properly. The amount of spam I got actually increased and the program didn't seem to be able to detect spam before it hit my inbox even after I'd previously blocked it! In the end, I just went back to Outlook's built in spam filter which, as lame as it is, actually works better. All I can say is, whatever you do, just don't buy this program for Office 365.

Used this for several years and it worked fine, then suddenly it just quit working.Uninstalled/reinstalled at the suggestion of their customer support, and still not working. Their customer support is nothing but emails. Told me that it must be something wrong with the setup. Setup?....you download it and it installs itself! As I said, it worked fine for years, then suddenly it stopped working all together. Kept writing customer support, and their answer was to cancel my subscription with no refund! I would avoid this software at any cost and choose a better alternative
