Made a reservation online and spoke to a representative who called. Discussed immediate rental,home owners insurance in lieu of using the storage policy, one free month and pertinent rental issues. When I arrived I asked to see a larger unit as I was unsure of the 5x5 would be adequate. Looked at a 5x10. Before I could decide the customer agent explained that the month would be prorated, the next month free and then I would have to stay one additional month. All reasonable. Then was told that whether I had insurance or not I would have to pay their monthly prorated insurance cost. I showed I had a policy but was told I could not use it until the following month, and that it would have to state "Off premise coverage". I stated I did not know if it said that but I could call and get an addendum from the insurance company if it did not. I was told I had to have it that day when signing the paperwork. I declined their storage service. None of that was made transparent when I spoke with the agent on the phone and it was something I specifically addressed. The agent on site said that it was a policy out of the headquarters in Houston. After taking the time to load up my storage items, driving to the facility, and leaving without accomplishing the task, I was indifferent to call their corporate office when their are numerous storage facilities in town. I would never recommend a site that waits until you arrive to give information that is pertinent to using their facility. It was in bad faith and showed no transparency prior to booking a unit.

I spoke with a gentleman named Oscar. He was awesome! Oscar answered all my questions and pointed out things I will need to furnish (RV registration)to rent a space. He was very pleasant and knowledgeable.
