I've been buying music gear from Sweetwater for almost 20 years, and I've been a long-term customer because they are an amazing organization.I equipped an entire recording studio with gear purchased from them. I've purchased guitars, keyboards, amps, microphones, pre-amps, compressors, mixing desks, i/o processors, software, monitors, headphones, computers, and just about every kind of miscellaneous adapter, connector and gadget you can imagine from these guys . . . . and I am a repeat customer because their prices are fair, and the customer service is absolutely amazing. My personal Sales Engineer - David Hess - has been a fantastic source for problem solving, and professional advice, and I'm pretty sure he can answer any question thrown at him. . . . and, on the rare occasion I've stumped him with a question, he's known exactly where to find the answer in a matter of minutes. I just can't adequately express how necessary Sweetwater has been to my small business, and I look forward to doing business with them for many, many years to come.

Massive waste of time

Massive waste of time; We have placed an order for a rack drawer dispatched to a an Equinix datacenter in Dallas.They have asked a number of unusual questions at which point they decided they won’t ship a drawer “to a parking lot”.
All in all I’ve been made feel like a thieve that tries to scam them of a rack drawer. Never happened to me before.
Do not waste your time to do business with this supplier.

I recently purchased the TC Helicon Harmony Singer 2 Petal from Sweetwater.
This was my first experience with Sweetwater.First and foremost, I was not after a specific product. Still, I was welcomed to the experience by a Sales Engineer at Sweetwater (Daniel Moore) who listened to what I was trying to achieve. Once he understood that I was wanting to add ‘reverb’ to a voice input, he had a few product suggestions for me to consider. He understood that I was on a budget and as he looked at my needs, he came up the Harmony Singer 2 solution which just happened to be on sale… As it turned out, I was not very knowledgeable about voice amplification, microphones, and PA amps. The whole idea of XLR connections and balanced cabling was a whole new world for me. Daniel stepped me through it all and as such, I ordered all the right parts for minimal dollars invested overall. Daniel really spent a lot of time and effort with me. It was not a big sale for Sweetwater but he treated me and my needs as if it were a million-dollar account. Sweetwater (and Daniel) really stands out for me. I contacted two other companies before I linked up with Sweetwater and now, Sweetwater without hesitation, is my go-to supplier for audio needs. Once I got the setup in place, what follows is my direct feedback to Daniel:
Finally, with set-up now complete, just one word: AMAZING! What a piece of technology!! I now have a full complement of "balanced" cables and, I acquired a small PA amp to channel the voice through to. Plus, I have a high-end SURE mic to drive it all. I am so very happy with what it does and the way it does it. The guitar (through connection) and the voice feed are super quiet/ without any interference what so ever. Your recommendation gave me what I needed and wanted, and while it all was a little more money than what I wanted to invest, it was worth every penny. It is a good feeling to have you as a Sales Consultant as I will come to you with future needs, for sure. You spent a lot of time with me on this and now, I am in a good place.
Oh, and by the way, I just loved Sweetwater's little 'trademark' in the package (candy - nice touch!).

I recently purchased an audio interface from Sweetwater and after I hooked it up, it wasn't working as I expected.Jackson in tech support spent a lot of time with me running down what I was doing wrong in my setup. He really knows his stuff - both the hardware and software. He deserves an official "great job!” This kind of post-sale service (as well as upfront explanations of products) is why I have bought my audio gear from Sweetwater for over 20 years.

I bought a Yamaha Reface CP Synthesizer Keyboard with its bag, a Yamaha FC3A Foot pedal,and Guitar strings from this online store. Even though it's shipping across the seas, these arrived before and within the expected time and date of delivery. These were packed securely and safe. I highly recommend this online store for musicians and other people who cannot buy some musical gears and instruments not available within their own countries. Good job for the Sweetwater company and staff. ??

At one time, I thought that online retailers could not compete with brick-and-mortar retailers because of a lack of expertise.It turns out that brick-and-mortar retailers in general can't often find or afford the expertise.
Still, until Sweetwater, online expertise was hard to find. Reviews help a bit, but you need to know how to read them, and fraud is common.
Sweetwater's online expertise is the answer. They assign a Sales Engineer to every customer, and they encourage you to contact that person if you have questions. That person also follows up on every purchase to make sure you are happy with your purchase.
My Sales Engineer, Hayden Flack, performs his part excellently. His recommendations have been spot on. He's never tried to upsell me. Instead, twice he's recommended lower cost options when I've had questions.

They really take care of you as a customer. I was assigned a sales specialist that has been there since I started ordering a couple years ago..he text me and ask me about my orders and even is a real person with interest and stuff. Gives you the feel that your a part of the family there when spending those big music bucks since that gear isnt cheap. I have bought from alot of places but I think I am gonna stay with them as much as possible. Thanks Noah!
