The worst everything

Reviewed on 2021-05-19T15:20:41

The worst everything. Television has to be rebooted several times a day. Remotes are terrible, don't work very well at all. Internet is not very fast as advertised. Terrible all around and you don't get your money's worth for sure.

Inconsistent internet and misleading advertised speeds.

Reviewed on 2021-05-18T06:40:51

When running the internet speeds I receive about 2/3rds of the advertised internet speed and the internet randomly disconnects or slows throughout the day.Increasingly frustrating to deal with when I’m trying to navigate schooling online

HOPELESSSS!!!!

Reviewed on 2021-05-14T00:37:47

They candled a phone I ordered after I had already waited the initial waiting period and was told I had another week or more to wait. Now, to order the same phone, I have to wait 6-8 weeks minimum. Byeeeee! I have been a long time and very patient customer (Telus is not renowned for good customer service in the past, and I tolerated it) yet I still get treated like the red headed step-child. Telus, 3 strikes, you are out! Rogers is happy to replace you as my provider! CHOWWW!

Advertise Pure fibre will avoid installing it seems

Reviewed on 2021-05-11T23:05:40

They advertise pure fibre on every work vehicle here in Edmonton but they have cancelled and resheduledevery Pure Fibre installation because of the drop box at my location doesnt have the cable run from the honeypot to the household and everytime they cancel they do the South Park " were sorry"lol. I moved to this household June 1st 2020 moved my Telus 70 here and only Telus 50 was available so the rep said my prices stay the same but the internet downgrades but they will auto initiate the upgrade once the fibre was installed but never bothered to contact me and kept charging me the up price. I let them know start of winter my situation was dire as im a competitive gamer and there is 4 others in the household that play streaming apps and game as well and they told me they would instal fibre in the sping. By March I did not recieve any emails or text SMS nothing about the installation so I called and they didnt seem to have prior notes about it and nothing on file that I agreed to the two year contract so I ended up re agreeing to a 2 year contract. Also for the record it took them 4 attempts to finally update my phone number to the proper number but even still I dont think they would of bothered as customer service seems to be bare minimum with this company. Continuing on they booked the technition he shows up says drop box is not wired up to the fibre says a couple days ill be hooked up. A week and half goes by I call no one knows whats going on no account notes or anything then they say it will be fine they are coming to do the drop soon. 2 weeks go by nothing no emails ect I call in the rep says nothing on the account the tech didnt report the problem properly he sends out a new tech says this one will have a buddy and they can install tech shows up solo has no knowledge of the drop box issues he takes my number (the one on file was wrong of course ) but then he got me a reschedule a week prior which was great I got a phone call saying the vendors are doing it and I will be ready for pure fibre May 3rd. Rita calls me May 2nd reschedules for May 12th vendors are not ready but guarantee May 12th will be the install date and May 11th (Today) comes by and Rita the same rep that cancelled May 2nd cancels my May 12th installation and makes in May 18th officially being the 5th reschedule. Each of these days fall on a work day for me so Ive been harrasing my work managers about leaving early having these days off so I could be there but end up always cancelling. I will not tell my managers about the May 18th install as I dont trust Telus to go through with it and I dont want to burden myself with being let down once again. Customer service is poor no body follows up and each department has minimal communication with each other. You get left on hold a lot and even when your pissed they try to sell you things. I have not gotten angry at anyone I treat them with respect even though there might be frustration in my voice lol. I really wanted to call in and be mean but figured I would share my story. I wanted to cancel the service but a close friend of mine says shaw is not better so I feel kinda trapped with Telus at the moment
