Possibly the worst customer service ever. I place an order two and a half weeks ago,I have been promised three different delivery dates 2 from Fed Ex, and 1 from a customer service rep at the body shop. I am still waiting, the order has now gone from Kentucky, Wisconsin, Washington State ( I live in Oregon) and two different carriers. Now the Post office has it, and no date for delivery. I have requested my money back three times, and I keep getting the run around from Customer Service.

If I could give this absolutely inept company the rating it deserves, it would be a minus figure. I ordered a gift online for my friend’s birthday as we were still in lockdown.The confirmation email stated dispatch would be within 5 days - perfect. But, not only was it not dispatched I wasn’t informed it had not been sent. I rang the company and amazingly the warehouse dispatched it, too late for the birthday though! Hermes confirmed delivery, evidenced by a photograph, but a subsequent email, on the same day, from the Body Shop said there had been a mistake by the warehouse and order had not been completed. I contacted my friend who had received the package but been advised her account had been debited! When she contacted the Body Shop she even mentioned it had been her birthday so perhaps it was a gift. She was asked to return the package, although she could take something out of it for her trouble. Not sure how that would have worked. This company should re-launch itself as the Comedy Club! Absolutely appalling, never again!

I’ve been using body butter for over 15 years then I went to get my usual strawberry butter & theyhave change the cream completely it’s not so soft & smooth & it does NOT smell anything like the 1 before & not to start on the packaging it’s looks cheap & On top of it you have raised the price to £18 now come on is this how you treat you dedicated customers

I have ordered for years the same thing for my daughter who is on oxygen and can’t use anything that’s flammable.Very disappointed with my last order. Satsuma body butter. One large, two small. Free gift satsuma shower gel. Didn’t get the free gift. And not only have the containers had a make over, but clearly the body butter has too. Can not even smell satsuma at all. Just smells like a plain cream.

I really love some of their products as I have really funny skin and can react horrendously.......but delivery times are a joke!Two orders now have been late and not just by a day but over a week late which if it was all just for me I wouldn’t get so miffed but some were birthday presents Won’t order online again!

The body shop is a well known brand for cosmetic items. It offers products for both men and women.It offers various items ranging from a face wash to a face scrub and many many more. The overall experience I had with the body shop is amazing except for their customer service which they need to work upon.

Conned into giving out my personal information

As I was paying for a purchase at the 374 Oxford Street branch - the cashier said he would give me a free card.He didn’t ask me if I would like one - but presented it to me as a gift, waited for me to put it in my purse then said ‘ right I just need your name’.... aware of the queue behind me - he’d put me in a really awkward position so I gave him my name quickly. He then asked me my email address and finally date of birth. This was such an underhand way of extracting an email address from a customer - I felt utterly helpless and left feeling like I’d been completely conned. This is a nasty, sneaky tactic and shame on you Body Shop for allowing this kind of behaviour from your staff. Why are you so desperate for email addresses than you go to such deceitful and deceptive ways of collecting personal info from your customers. The cashier behaved in a completely unacceptable way - I could almost feel him laughing as I left the shop - there goes another sucker. Disgusting, appalling and unethical treatment of customers. I certainly won’t be shopping at the Body Shop ever again.

I am very much aware that the Body Shop has great products. For this reason, I thought it would be nice to order Mother's Day gifts for friends.Online it said that the ground shipping was $6.00 for three to seven day shipping. However, when I was on the phone with customer service, she said ground shipping was actually $6.00 for eight to twelve days due to delays. If it is not actually three to seven days, then it should say that on the website. Also, I don't understand why I could only make three purchases a day. I needed to make ten separate purchases for my friends gifts, but I couldn't do that. At first, I didn't understand why my card wasn't going through until I had to call to see what the problem was. The next day when I went to order three more, apparently, I was locked out of the website completely because of the amount of attempts I tried the day before. I was told on the phone that I had to wait two days before I could order any other gifts. Therefore, I decided to cancel my three purchases, only to find that they didn't even have the items in stock. They were completely sold out, which was not stated on the website. As mentioned in the beginning, I love the Body Shop and their products. However, this experience was stressful.
