Amazing gifts and customer service!

Reviewed on 2020-01-03T00:30:49

When faced with a minor delivery issue I reached out to Confetti Post to find out what could be done to ensure my friend would receive her gift.I corresponded with the founder who was incredibly prompt, kind, and gracious. She went above and beyond to ensure that my friend received her package, going so far as to call her apartment complex to ensure that it would have a safe place to be delivered and kept before she returned from vacation. After my friend returned she immediately sent me a message letting me know how much she loved her gift! The experience was amazing, the gift was awesome, and I received some of the best customer service I've ever had. I can't recommend Confetti Post enough!

FANTASTIC SERVICE -I'm from Cape Town…

FANTASTIC SERVICE -I'm from Cape Town ,South Africa. I found your company online and did the research .WHAT A PLEASURE it was to set this all up!! The Party Person was emotional and so happy with the entire contents. Your personal hands on approach made me feel most comfortable. I had no idea how easy payment would transact or how fast delivery would take. I was also very impressed with how my emails were almost immediately replied to and the transparency on company policy about banking security . PLEASE PLEASE DO A Christmas catalog , I'm looking forward to sending my next Party in a Box

Very pleased!

I am so happy I discovered this business- I was wondering what birthday gift I could possibly send to my dear friend who is all the way over in New Zealand (I'm in the US)and found the Confetti Post. I picked out a few cute items I knew my friend would love, added a personal note, and received an email notifying me that the package was shipped the next day (which I was worried about, knowing customs may tack on extra shipping time), and even though it'll take a bit to ship, I know it was shipped as quick as possible on the sending end. I even received an email the day I ordered the package to make sure my personal message was correct (which it wasn't, but was corrected by the super helpful employee that reached out to me!). I love the charitable causes that the company incorporates into the purchases and will definitely be ordering again the next time I need to brighten someones day.

I couldn't benefit from the service because they don't ship to UK, but they suggested another servicethat could and they were really caring and helpful. I wish I could buy their gift boxes because I really love the design and the gift assortment.

I am extremely unhappy with this gift I…

Reviewed on 2019-04-22T18:20:34

I am extremely unhappy with this gift I received from my sister. It is an absolute waste of money for $59.As a housewarming gift is it extremely useless. The confetti popper and 1 single balloon are really an odd thing to add to a basket. Did you guys even ask yourself what one would do with a single balloon? What is a new homeowner supposed to do with a SINGLE balloon that was sent in the box? One that’s not even inflated? A key chain sounds like a great idea, however, when the key chain is the size of a piece of wood found on most public bathroom keys, using it would be more disconcerting than proud. The tiny trinket basket is also such a pointless item that will just end up as junk. Tried putting my key chain in my new basket but that didn’t work out. The hand towel and pretzels are the only nice thing in the basket, but definitely not worth the price. The pretzels come all dusty and crumbled up anyway. This is very poorly executed basket. UPDATE: Such an unprofessional business owner. I would like to share the rest of the dialogue with this chick... From the business : Hi Melisa, Wow! I saw your other reviews come in on my website and Trust Pilot. I am a little flabbergasted at your disappointment. I think it would be warranted had we misrepresented our product, or done something wrong. However, we delivered on exactly the product on our website that your sister paid for and picked out. I guess I am a little confused. Pretend you don't like apples. If someone bought you an apple as a gift, not knowing you didn't like apples, would you be upset at the orchard where the apples were grown---even if the apples were perfectly good apples? Would you proceed to leave negative reviews all over for that orchard and its perfectly normal apples? I do not think it is fair that you have blasted my company for the sole reason being its existence, with a purpose to spread goodness and joy in an often dark world. A company that supports three charities who help make birthdays happy for children experiencing hard life things, like chronic illnesses. A company started in my home with a heart to bridge distances for people who cannot celebrate with those they love in person. The Confetti Post is made up of just three people, all of us Moms of young children trying to add to our household incomes after we have all been hit with unexpected financial challenges in life. Reviews are very important to small businesses, and we've made mistakes that warrant a bad review. Everyone makes mistakes, and I do my best to deliver stellar customer service to own my mistakes and make them up to my customers. In this case though, we did nothing wrong. I have received gifts that made me think "Huh? Why did they think I would like this?" But never in my wildest thoughts did it ever cross my mind to negatively blast the company who made the gift that person chose for me, and potentially do harm to that company. I just thought "This product is not for me." Deeply concerned to have set off such a fury of disappointment with my product. I sincerely wish you all the best in life, and for lots of reasons to smile. Best, Leitia My response: Thank you for taking the time to explain the idea behind the gift box. My apologies if your feelings are hurt over my review of the gift box. However I think you are missing my point. I LOVE gift baskets. It is just that this particular basket is one of the worst I have ever received. With your apple basket analogy – I would be happy to receive apples (even if they aren’t my favorite fruit) but I gladly would welcome the gift. However, some companies would make a great basket and some would make a poor basket in terms of value. Some gift baskets would give you a variety of apples and some would give you only one kind. Some would give you lots of apples and some would give you one with less. So obviously I have a right to rate the basket in comparison to other companies. With the basket I received from your company, I happen to love key chains, but this one is just impractical. I happen to love parties. I love balloons and confetti and I use them in every occasion I can. My wedding was full of biodegradable confetti. However the whole idea of ONE single balloon and just a confetti popper in the box is not really a party. Maybe if there was a tiny inflated balloon that pops up when you open the box it would feel like a party. Or even those boxes where you open it and confetti pops out. That would be such an “OMG party!” moment. But the way this was presented is not a party at all. This also brings me to my next point– you mention “environmentally sustainable manner” in your email but then your box includes a plastic key tag? Confetti that isn’t environmentally friendly in more plastic? And a balloon? Doesn’t seem like you are really achieving your idea of environmentally friendly. You also mention you have never received a basket yourself. So why not take the advice from someone that has sent and received many baskets in her lifetime and realize that I cared enough to try to make your business better. I even offered you plenty ideas that would go with a “first home” theme. I literally just bought my first home and the things I mentioned would sure as heck come in handy. Isn’t the whole point of the box to make someone happy? Do you know how happy I would be with useful things in a gift during such a major life event? Your product wasn’t misrepresented but I wanted to stop someone purchasing a box that has no value in my opinion in terms of what’s inside it or for the intention of a new homeowner gift because I don’t want anyone to be as disappointed as I was receiving it and I don’t want someone wasting their money. I am so proud of you and your company and all the great ways you mention your company gives back. It could give back even better if the product was better. Had I been happy with the box, I would have used your company a dozen times over and I would have mentioned it to everyone at my company. That would have been so many potential new customers from NY. Instead you chose to write an email hinting that I am not fun because I don’t see the sense in ONE balloon and a random popper? Also dragging me and my sister down by saying she misread my gifting language? Why not just realize what your customer is suggesting and take the criticism to improve your box? Regards, Melisa PS – I think your handmade company is duping you …. It’s from China (and I sent her screenshot of the item on the website) Never have I ever worked with such an awful business. Not only do I now have to pay a $10 restocking fee for literally items she can resell (minus the food item) but I also have to ship it back on my dime. I want the world to know how unpleasant this experience has been. Anything but happy!

I love the variety of boxes to choose from and how speedy the shipping was! I accidentally entered thewrong shipping information and they were quick to help me fix it to make sure it got to the right place. My friend LOVED the presentation just as much as all of the goodies inside the box. Will definitely be sending more of these boxes in the future!
