The product was as expected. Delivery was a few days late. Their website said 1 day delivery time.But the reality was 5 days delivery. Slightly long delivery time if one takes into account the relatively high shipping costs

The worst purchasing experience in my six years in Europe

I got a faulty Yamaha digital product. I contact the sales team (I only knew this email address)but they didn't reply. Days later I sent an email with importance mark, they forwarded it to the customer service. Then the customer service replied that I can only get a replacement after they have checked the faulty product onsite. And I have return the product by myself and pay extra money if I asked for a pick-up service. (How can I return such huge and heavy product by myself without a pick-up service?) They would also charge me for 2nd extra cost since I don't have the original box. Their reply was very slow. It is really frustrated that I got a faulty one, and have to spend so much energy, time, and money to cover the cost. It is just so ridiculous. It means that if you got a faulty product, you have to wait for days/weeks to get a replacement. And there is also restrictions for customers like, you have to ask for a return within 2 weeks and must return the product within 2 weeks. I would recommend other places if possible. Thanks.

Unexpected additional bill after importing - think carefully.

First time I've ever had to do this - I just deleted my original 5 star review and am replacing itwith this. Originally I had nothing but praise for Thomann and the way they arranged for a delivery of a guitar from Germany via UPS, especially after an initial hitch when my bank didn't like me paying them by card from here in the UK. All then went well . . . UNTIL . . . Yesterday a letter arrived from UPS hitting me with an invoice for £98.72. This was explained on the invoice as "weight adjustment based on UPS audit". I was given 7 days in which to pay. As the letter had been sent 9 days before I received it, I was more than a bit disgusted. The invoice has now cost me 1/4 as much again as I paid for the guitar and has made me wish the thing was in the bin. So - my original comment about there being no apparent problems when importing from the EU was utterly wrong. I apologise if that in any way influenced someone else to order from Thomann. I will certainly never risk using them again and will now never, ever recommend them. Quite the opposite. I now offer the advice that anyone considering buying from Thomann and importing into the UK must think VERY hard, then think again and then look somewhere else or they should put aside a good wedge of money in case you are also hit with an unexpected bill. As it happens, Thomann stock a couple of other pieces of equipment that I was seriously interested in (Harley Benton) but those plans have now been binned. I wouldn't buy from Thomann again if you paid me. 5 stars down to 1 star . . . NOT a good endorsement.

I could not find the drum kit parts I needed from UK suppliers. Thomann had everything I needed,were extremely kind in responding to my questions, and with great generosity helped me solve a mistake I made in the order. I cannot thank them enough.

Uncooperative and Rude Sales Person and Support

I ordered from Thomann and after they told me to receive shipment faster I need to pay 140 euros to receive it in 7-10 business days.I paid and the shipment has been shipped from 5th May 2021. I have an event scheduled on Saturday May 22nd and I need the shipment urgently during my scheduled event. It's been more than 10 business days and I haven't received my shipment. I contacted UPS and they confirmed that the delay is from Thomann as they tried to contact them to get my phone number and e-mail but there was no reply from Thomann for few days. UPS said either way Thomann should be refund and then Thomann would deal with UPS. I tried to e-mail Thomann but the employee who replied refused to cooperate and said that 7-10 business days doesn't mean 7-10 days. The employee refused to help me completely. I really don't know what to do. The attitude and the refusal to help is frustrating. I want to get to get refund for the extra money paid for faster shipment and I want my shipment to be here before May 21st.
