Unresponsive, worst bank ever!

A loved one passed away and I have sent in all the legal documents in order to have the funds in his account released.They tell me they are experiencing heavy volumn of requests and they promise to get back to me. They have never responded as promised, not once. They are unresponsive when I call and email. It has been weeks! This is unexcusable. Why not hire more customer service representatives?

This is by far the worst bank, I’ve ever dealt with. I opened a complaint back in September 2020,for investigation because I never received package from Amazon, a few more comp. I had to call over 20X and 5 out of those 20 were asking me 100 questions that I answered for to open investigation. Out of those 5, 4 had completed form incorrectly, it wasn’t submitted properly or at all to be investigated at all or simply wasn’t ever opened. It was the 3rd call where I was told an investigation wasn’t never opened. One time I was actually in the phone with a tier 3 manager for over an hour while he revised dispute form. Waited another month, was on there again for over an hour and each one blamed the other. So frustrating to know a bank like this handles your money. I faxed them all the paperwork that was requested. No response. Was tired of calling so I’m going to escalate matter.

Almost two weeks ago I got scammed and someone got a hold of my card info..so I called the bank to replace my card and shut off the old one...come to find out after I receive it in the mail,the customer service and bank teller all told me I had to get a hold of a specific manager that is completely unreliable and never can reach her, even leaving her a voicemail... my whole account was locked for the week and supposedly she tried calling me twice in the two days the incident happened and having to pay bills with no access to my hard working money is very unnecessary and wasn’t warned that she would call me or shut down my account without notifying me...I will not recommend anyone to bank with this branch..worst customer service I’ve ever experienced in my life... when nobody can help you in any kind of problem like this... they are helpless and no good business...

US BANK..ABSOLUTE WORST. GOT MY CARD COMPROMISED 3 TIMES IN A YEARS. SOON LATER US BANK FILED A CLAIM WITHOUT NOTIFYING ME.THEN DID NOTHING TO HELP THE FACT THAT THE CLAIM THAT THEY START RESULTED IN THE LATE STATUS OF THE BILL I WAS ACTUALLY TRYING TO PAY. I SPOKE WITH U.S. BANK REP KATHLEEN, WAS UNDERSTANDING. MIA, DID WHAT SHE COULD. EDDIE, THE SUPERVISOR, WAS ABSOLUTELY NO HELP. ONLY LET ME KNOW WHAT HE COULDN’T DO WHILE LEAVING ME WITH LATE CHARGES AND NO FIXED FUNDS FOR THE CLAIM THAT I NEVER STARTED. RIDICULOUS. THEY ARE NOT HERE FOR THE CUSTOMER.

I’ve had US Bank for 17 years and I’ve never needed them for anything besides to hold my money.My account got hacked and somebody sent themselves money I told them that it wasn’t me and when I needed them to help me they weren’t there they denied my claim so now I’m just out of luck horrible customer service. Every time I called to get the situation resolved I experienced way long hold times and was even hung up on multiple times. I would not recommend them to anyone

It is a worst US bank branch ever.we are customer for last 20 years and used to work there in MN too.All the employees in Utica ridge bank in Iowa are so harsh and harass the customer.They don’t care about customer life during this pandemic. Employees worry about their life and operate in fewer capacity but they cannot accept customer signed letter and want customer to be showing in person without worrying about customer life.

I do not recommend US Bank ever. Stay away. In April, 2019 I received an unemployment deposit into account that is managed by U.S.Bank ReliaCard. I was not aware of the money till March 2021. When I finally activated the card and checked the account, I found out that US Bank has been charging my account $2 inactivity fee since day one. According to U.S. Bank ReliaCard fee schedule for the Oregon Unemployment insurance program, this $2 fee is to be charged each month AFTER you have not completed a transaction using your card for 365 consecutive days. However, US Bank started charging me this $2 fee staring April 2019, 12 months before they were suppose to. I reached out to them and asked them to reverse $24, out of $48. They told me, they cannot. Then they told me: maybe; them we try and so on. Anyway, I filled a request with them. When I called week later, they said my request was denied. When I asked why: the request was missing my name (I was not the one submitting the request). The lady I talked to was very nice and tried to help me. She said that the money will be reversed and I should call back in a week. When I called back next week, I got reversed $14 out of $24. When I asked why - no answer except that somebody decided I can only get $14 complimentary refund. What did I do wrong? I did not use my account for 24 months. However, US Bank was not to charge me anything till 12 months AFTER no activity. NOT from the first month, according to their fee schedule that they sent me together with the card. My final request to get $10 fee reversed was DENIED without any resalable explanation. I had some bad experience before, when I had checking/saving accounts with them. I had my deposits deposited into someone else's account or somebody else's money deposited into my account, on just on one occasion. I know we are only humans. When it happens once, maybe twice, I can understand. But when it is happening on regular basis, it raises RED flags for me. By by US. Bank, never again.
