Perfect vacation at Crystal Villas The condo was just great! Perfect location to everything,slept 5 great easy access to beach (open door and there it is). It was clean, quite and relaxing. Will definitely be back again.

Be cautious when booking with Vacasa

I have stayed at Vacasa properties twice. I am giving them 2 stars because I was able to atleast lay my head down every night I have stayed at their property.However, they did not meet my standards on cleanliness nor customer service. My last stay was May 2-7, 2021 in Southern Magnolia Retreat. There were several issues that did not get resolved or were dealt with poorly. 1. Upon arrival, we were greeted with a sidewalk covered in trash and 2 wooden pallets along with trash sprinkled throughout the yard. I figured the trash had not run yet, so I gave it a day. They picked up the trash but left the pallets on the sidewalk. They were there the entire stay. No one came to remove them even though we had complained to management several times. One of our guest picked up the trash in the yard. 2. On arrival once we had gotten into the house, from first glance looked ok. Upon further investigation, the garage smelled like trash and was starting to smell up the downstairs. We had to leave the garage open to rid the house of the odor. The upstairs carpet was filthy. The pantry did not have a door. The water would not get hot. The pool had previous guest belongings in it, so it had not been cleaned prior to our arrival. The house itself seemed poorly maintained. 3. Once our guest started arriving, we found out that on of the sections of the sofa in the downstairs livingroom was broken after one of our guest sat on it and nearly fell. I immediately called them about it and no one came out until Wednesday, the third day! We had to leave a note on the chair so no one would sit there. We had physically impaired guest and if they had sat on the chair could have seriously been injured. I explained that when I called the first time. I had to call twice and threaten to escalate it if the issues were not dealt with. As I waited for a response, another guest discovered their bed frame was broken and TV didn't work. Another guest found an old baby bottle with milk in it behind their bed. Another guest said the shower wasn't draining, so the water backed up in the shower as well as other sinks in the house. Completely unsanitary. Later on in the week roaches were discovered around the trash in the kitchen. We had to buy some spray for the kitchen. 4. To add insult to injury, when the clean up crew came through, he asked us to give them 5 stars because they were the ones that clean the house. Not only that, when the manager finally came on Wednesday, my guest were told the gas had gotten turned off and that was why the hot water wasn't working. They said the guest before us tore up the house so that is why it was in such bad shape. They had to get back with us about the TV. They took the broken section out and placed it in the garage that already had broken furniture in it. We were checking out on Friday and this was Wednesday. I left a review at the end of our stay and spoke to someone on the phone before we left. I have not gotten any communication back from Vacasa. Not even an apology! This is not a company I will ever use again. Cleanliness is important, especially now, and this house did not meet the mark nor did their customer service. So very disappointing.

I haven’t stayed at any of the vacasa properties, but I do live next to one. Let me tell you about the nightmare.Every couple of days a new group of people show up. These people don’t care about the permanent residents, their dogs are off leash and in your yard as soon as the car doors open. They are loud and inconsiderate because why not? They’ll only be here for a couple of days. When they leave you get to start all over with a new group. Avoid living next to a vacasa house at all costs.
