When there is a problem it is almost impossible to TALK to someone...you have to deal with typing backand forth with someone who tries to help (and it can take a long time to get someone to help you in the first place). I have had Verizon for over a year and they still keep billing me for a phone number that isn't mine. I have been back and forth with them and they tell me it is fixed but future bills have the wrong phone number again. I came to Verizon thinking they would be better than Cox but I never had these continuing problems with them so I am probably going back to Cox when my contract with Verizon is finished. It's a pain in the neck to switch back but I think it's better than dealing with Verizon month after month trying to fix the same problem.

I called and asked to extend my payment for 2 days and the agent processed my payment anyways WITHOUT my consent and bounced my checking account.I talked to a supervisor who reversed the payment but in the mean time it is still not back in my bank and I will now have not 1 but 2 bounced fees!!! I am beyond upset!

If I could give zero stars, I would. Verizon service is the worst I’ve ever experienced.Two mi-fi devices; one frozen, the other will not stay connected to internet. I still need to pay $280 to disconnect. Rip off! After many years with Verizon, I’m done. The tech at my local Verizon store flat out lied to me regarding ability to disconnect, while never recommending options. “Loyalty team” is a joke.

Verizon is a big name in the industry, but the service is anything but. For a reputable TECHNOLOGY company,they do a horrible job of having an infrastructure setup for long time customers having an older phone. They actually sent me a text saying that I would only receive 4G when it's not too busy, and would receive 3G the rest of the time. They did something that resulted in me being no longer able to use my phone for a hotspot. Consistently takes an unusually long time to receive an sms message, let a lone an mms message. I am getting dropped more frequently. All of the above likely due to my comment about them delegating older phones that long time customers may have, to the back of the bandwidth line. On top of all that, their website looks like something from the 1990's, and so many bugs and malfunctions with the functionality of it. It's as if they have no QA department that tests it before deploying it to live production. All that, and they are still the most expensive cell service provider.
To be fair, there coverage is still one of the best if not the best of all providers, and their customer service, although imperfect, I have never had a major problem with.

I recently (in September 2019) signed up for Verizon's new prepaid phone plan which included 16 GB of high speed data.I live in Provo, Utah, near Salt Lake city, so I assumed I wouldn't have an issue with getting fast data. The data plan is supposed to give you 4G LTE data if the network is not congested. However, after my first day of service, the network must have always been congested because I never once (not a single time) had 4G LTE data. Most of the time my data was 3G (not even 4G), and sometimes it was even 1-2G. It was very very slow. After a month of service I cancelled and switched to Cricket. If you want a good phone provider, that is not only a little cheaper but that almost always also gives you 4G LTE data (I don't think I've ever not had 4G LTE data yet with them), then check out Cricket. It's a really good service.

This company has gotten so big that it has definitely lost touch with its customers.It takes a really long time and too many transfers to get anything started and nothing done. Avoid at all cost!! All my online orders were sent to the incorrect address even though I confirm and double confirm before submitting my information. It still ends up going somewhere else. Definitely a tech issue with how the information is being processed.

Went into the new Verizon store on 528 in Rio Rancho and jean took care of me she was really awesomethen Tyler the manager came over and introduced himself I felt really comfortable and it was way nicer than the other stores I have visited and oh yeah no unnecessary hidden charges to make an extra buck give these guys a chance 5 star rating is justified mention that Cee sent u and that we still need that Christmas party to rock them out and get recognized ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
