Dear god, appalling, don’t waste your time. I listed several items, somehow they listed me as living in the Netherlands,I live on the Isle of Man, spent hours trying to change it. WOULDNT except my info. A young girl in France had purchased a dress but it was in euros so lost money there. She was unable to pay. After several emails back and forth, I said I’ll send her the dress today free and I’ll pay the postage. I did this as a good will gesture. She really wanted it and to me I felt nice doing it for her, BUT NEVER AGAIN. RIDICULOUS. BEWARE BEWARE BEWARE. NO CUSTOMER SERVICE JUST AN EMAIL THAT BUMPS BACK. STICK TO EBAY

Avoid Vinted at all cost, and by that I mean, At Your Cost!
There is no support. Customer services only responds to queries with pre scripted answers.The company and it's method is a complete shambles, to the extent that they should be investigated at closed down. The business model fails repeatedly and as a seller there is every probability that you will be left seriously out of pocket.
All these negative reviews repeat the same issues over and over.
Head the advice and AVOID.

The customer choose the delivery sending by Hermes and it stuck in tracking no update.I contacted vinted they said after 7 working days they will contact Hermes to further investigate. BUT they didn't, they sent me this following automatic messeage:
Unfortunately, we will only be able to compensate up to £50 for the loss of the parcel. You can find more information here:
If somehow the buyer manages to receive the parcel, you should reach an agreement with them outside of Vinted. At that point, we would no longer have the funds in our system and wouldn't be able to take any further action.
I'm very sorry that you're dealing with this issue and it's your first experience on Vinted.

2. £50 compensation is not enough for this lost item
3. At least, you should contact Hermes if they whenever find my item, it should be return to the sending address.
4. We are buying and selling on vinted, you ask me negociate outside the vinted. what you are going to supposed to do? nothing!
It is my first experience on vinted and I guess it will be the last.
Please stop selling with this company and be warning what they treat the buyer.

The buyer chose hermes as the delivery option for a 150 pound pair of sneakers I was selling.Vinted didn't warn me or the buyer that the delivery option would only insure the package for up to 50 pounds. Hermes "lost" the package and Vinted refused to compensate or help me despite their "seller protection". Hermes wouldn't serve me as I wasn't a direct customer. The customer service was appalling and there was no phone number or email to contact.

Very poor customer service. They charge so-called buyer’s protection fee plus commission for themselvesand in return do not offer any support in case of issues especially in cases when your items are lost or you have been frauded.
I have few bad experiences and will stop using Vinted

Do not use this company!
I was scammed by a buyer who didn’t pay for a dress she bought and then used my original photos on her website to sell on the dress!
Vinted said they couldn’t help me!There’s not protection for buyers or sellers.

This company charges you a "Buyer protection fee" whenever you purchase an item, but as a buyer you get ZERO protection.Sellers are free to cheat and trick buyers, send defective products. If you have a dispute, you have to return the item AT YOUR OWN COST. Sellers are not held responsible for anything, and you can't even leave a rating after a dispute. Also, absolute worst customer service I've ever encountered.

Recently set up an account with Vinted to sell some clothing due to weight loss. Uploaded numerous items.1st item sold within a day or two and money was transferred within a week. Second item didn’t go so smoothly. If the buyer chooses Royal Mail, then you must rely on them saying when the parcel has been delivered otherwise Vinted will only release cash after a month or so. I’m now still waiting after nearly a month for payment. How this company manages to operate baffles myself where they can hold cash just like a middle man until they are satisfied with the transaction. Wish the whole process was just like the advertisements on the TV shown in the UK. If and when I get my money, and it’s the 2nd time I’ve requested transfer, I’ll been using the Close Account Icon and deleting app. You’ve been warned.....
