Review (August 2025)

Tradition  on friday nights, members of the williams community come to the jewish religious center to welcome shabbat. there's a service led by students in the sanctuary, followed by a meal served family-style in the dining room that draws upwards of 110 students from a variety of faiths and backgrounds. student groups volunteer each week to help prepare shabbat dinner-among those who have participated this semester are members of the gospel choir, vista latinx student organization, gq a cappella group and the men's rugby team. pictured here, members of the williams college jewish association and ritmo latino dance group prepare a meal of homemade chicken empanadas, plantains, and rice and beans. williams news covid-19 informationselect williams facilities and events are open to the public. admission tours are available and guests are welcome at the williams college museum of art, sawyer and schow libraries and outdoor athletic events. visitors are also welcome at indoor competitions and some performances and events. proof of vaccination and masking are required for entry. see the visiting campus page for details. williams social
