I'd give 0 stars if I could! I called to ask about rates, but told the agent that I was still in the process of moving and didn't need the service for at least a month.He said that was fine, but convinced me to set up the account anyhow with a delay in the start date for trash pick up. (Now I know why). They delivered a tote, but as of this date, I haven't had any trash picked up.
I was told that they billed quarterly, but I don't recall ever being told that they billed 3 months in advance. I never would have agreed to that as I don't think it's right to pay for services before they're performed.
They sent me a bill for $78.26 for service that isn't supposed to start for another 16 days. So they're really billing for 3 1/2 months in advance. But what really irked me is a note on the bill that says; "This invoice constitutes an offer by WM to provide service to you for a specified period. By paying this, you agree to continue service during the specified service period and to the terms of service at (their website), with no refund (whole or partial) for early cancelation, unless such refund is required by law, regulation, or contract. If services are canceled, you will be assessed a Cart Removal charge of up to $75 plus applicable taxes and charges including fuel surcharge, environmental charge and regulatory cost recovery charge."
I called and told them that I don't agree to any of their terms or extortion fees, and to come and pick up their tote. The guy told me that he would charge me $75 to pick up the tote. I told him I wasn't paying that since I was never informed of that over the phone, and because I haven't received any services from them yet. I also told him that if they try to charge me $75 for nothing, that I would submit comaints to the Atty General, the BBB, and write bad reviews. And I will also contact county bureaucrats who are supposed to regulate companies doing business in the county.

I have never experience worse customer service in a very long time. If I could give them 0 stars I would.Have been trying to get a skip bag collected from my driveway for three days because my house had sold and the new owners were moving in. Spoke to 10 different people. Nine said it was being collected that day, it wasn’t. Two said they’d call me back, they didn’t. Finally lost my cool and said I’d stay on the phone until it was sorted. Then was told it wouldn’t be collected for another four days. Don’t say you’ll pick up within 5-10 working days if you can’t deliver. And you seriously need to get end to end accountability at your call centre! Will never use Waste Management skips again.

Worst customer service on the planet, right up there with Comcast/Xfinity. Can't ever speak someone in person,unless you sit on hold for over 45 mins. Every time, I ask a question or a status update I can't get any definite answer. Very dissatisfied that this large company ate up our former local service providers.

Seems like nobody likes this company. They are indeed one of the worst companies out there but they have a monopoly and that alone keeps them in business.I had prepaid for a bulk pickup. Simple. 20 wood pallets. After 4 reschedules, of course I was never notified, I cancelled and waiting in a refund. Guess I shoulda read the reviews first. Wished another company could get a head of these guys and put them out of business.

Over priced lack of quality service.

To set up trash service cost me 129$ to have them pick up their trash cans not damaged and in perfectcondition cost me 137$ the monthly bill is 10$ more per month then 3 other trash companies in Colorado on average. They DO NOT offer extra bag pick up in any way unless you pay per bag which I was quoted at 8$ per bag then another rep told me 6$ per bag. They will not come back at all for missed trash even if you offer to pay for it no matter the reason. You will wait another week.. No bundle options for any hoa community's. STRONGLY recommend waste connections or any other trash collection service.

We were given no notice that their service guidelines were changing. This caused us a giant pile up of extra trash.When I called during their business hours to get to the bottom of it, they were closed. I called the following Monday and was on hold for 15 minutes. My phone was breaking up so I asked for 10 seconds to step into a better area but I was transferred back to the beginning of the automated system to wait another 15 minutes. The next agent picked up and said I was at the wrong department and would transfer me directly to the right agent. He did transfer me but I was still on hold for another 12 minutes. Now at a phone time of 45 minutes an overseas agent picked up. She was nice and helpful but hard to understand. She explained the company changes which had not been made public before, arranged an extra pick up and services. In total a phone call that should have taken 10 minutes took 1 hour! If you have an option to go with another service I would highly recommend

Waste Management has been playing a game with me over the last year or two. They keep skipping collection as my house.I have filed complaints with both the BBB and the State's AG office (Missouri). WM's response has been to lie and say that my cans were not out on time or that I did not properly "label" the cans. The first is untrue and the second excuse is nonsensical since the cans are already labeled by them. The mayor should intervene since the contract is with the city but he is too much a lazy doofas to do anything until trash becomes piled up on the streets. WM is the worst and laziest company ever!!!!!
