Changed van size without notice
Booked a van 12 days in advance, paying in full. On the day a van 2 sizes up was provided, this would not fit where I was going. It became apparent the van size I had booked was off to France and obviously making Zelf more money. I was told to “use it or cancel” as Zelf “could not magic a van”. I used the larger van as on a Saturday morning of a move there were no other options. I needed to spend an extra 5-6 hours and 80 miles the next day in my own vehicle to finish the job I couldn’t complete due to continuously needing to move the too large Zelf van. Compensation offered for over 5 hours extra work and 80 more miles?… £29.15 Avoid, if your hire makes them less money than the next person in the door they will leave you hanging.
