There is a good solution that i can get panels without too much investing, monthly price looks reasonable. Installation was in planned date and without surprises.

Terrible communication
Installation went fine, however their communication is terrible! Never told me it was going to take months to get it installed. Also told me in the quote they needed a more expensive inverter due to the different angles of the panels. However, it was possible to install all panels in the same angle, which would allow for a cheaper inverter, but still they installed the more expensive one.
Extremely Disappointed – Losing Money Every Month Despite Promises
We take the contract with Zelfstroom in good faith, based on their promise that I would reduce my energy bills by approximately €31 per month for the next 15 years. This was clearly mentioned during the sales process and even highlighted in their proposal. However, the reality has been completely different. I’m paying €42 per month in rental fees for the solar panels, but the actual reduction in my energy bill is significantly less. Here are my monthly bill reductions for the past 7 months: Jan 2025: €4.45 Feb 2025: €12.22 Mar 2025: €31.99 Apr 2025: €39.23 May 2025: €39.43 Jun 2025: €38.48 Jul 2025: €33.78 Even in peak summer, I am still losing between €5 and €40 every month after paying the rental. When I raised this concern with their customer service, I was initially told that they would help me out. But after following up, they now claim there’s nothing they can do because the panels are generating the "expected amount of energy." That’s not the point—what matters is that we were sold on the idea that solar panels would reduce our monthly electricity costs, not increase them. Instead, we’re consistently losing money each month, and there seems to be no accountability for the misleading expectations they set during the sale. I’m extremely disappointed with this experience. Customers invest in solar panels to save money—not to be trapped in a long-term contract where they end up paying more.

Pathetic customer support
Pathetic customer support. 14 days to resolve issues takes more than a month! Not recommended.
If you are thinking about renting solar…
If you are thinking about renting solar panels better find another company. The first interview was on November 3, 2022, the offer was accepted on November 8. On November 29, there was an inspection of the installation and roof. The next contact from them was on December 29th, they informed me that the contract have to be re-signed because of installation roof terminal. The price has also been raised a bit. The offer was accepted on the same day. After no contact on January 30, an email was sent asking about the date of installation. No answer. On February 21, another email was sent, also unanswered. After a telephone contact, I received a reply that the offer was not accepted. The message to accept the offer has disappeared from my offer, so I accept the offer. On March 15, I got an email with an installation date of May 30. The term has been accepted. The installation took place but was not completed by the fitters. I received information from them that some element is incorrect for our roof, because of mistake by inspection and they have to order the good element and probably it took a week to finish it. The fitters said the company would contact me, probably the same day.After no contact, I called myself on June 2nd. The employee asked ME what item was wrong because they have no information. After asking when the installation will be completed, I was informed that I would receive an answer within 2 weeks about the new date, so there will be no week delay but more.I didn't even hear an apology. I will have to take the day off again. I do not recommend, incompetent company, lack of communication. waiting time too long.
