Customer service is absolutely HORRIBLE. All they do is regurgitate their knowledge base articles,which are largely outdated. Probably the worst customer service I've ever experienced in my entire life. What a joke.

THE WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE. WOW. I think that customer service is everything in a company,Whether it's retail or tech. But wow, I do not know why my company signed up with 8x8 our old phone system worked soo much better and it was from 2000!! Here's the lowdown, I tried to contact them through phone, no one picks up or it'll hang up. So then I went to the chat area to get a live agent then it took 15-30 mins to respond to EVERY SINGLE QUESTION. It was almost like they wanted you to give up.. I talked to someone on the phone then they said they are not the technician dept. so after 3-4 days they FINALLY EMAILED. My issue was so so simple, I needed help fixing the transfer on my calls. IT WASN'T AS I NEEDED A ROCKET SCIENTIST. Customer service is everything and I don't know why is company got so big. I can get through people AT SALESFORCE better than here.

Positives - overall service works well. Account manager dashboard is complicated (due to so many features)but once you are familiar it allows you a lot of control. I used them for 10 years at two business locations and overall reliability and quality was good. BUT ...... After 10 years, when I ported over to Comcast I got a huge run around. It seems like they simply have a process to slow walk a terminate so they can collect additional fees on the back end before losing you as a customer. Extremely frustrating.

Are you interested in never being able to port your numbers to a new service? Are you looking for a phone provider who has never even considered customer service a priority?Would you like to be completely in the dark about how to actually use your phone service? LOOK NO FURTHER than 8x8! They're unethical, they move at a snail's pace, and they truly do not care about you and your business. I've filed numerous complaints against these scammers, grifters, and con-folk with the FCC, and I'll continue to do just that while naming their support reps in these complaints. It has been more than a month that we have attempted to have our numbers ported to our new carrier with little to no results. We have lost business in the hundreds of thousands of dollars thanks to their clunky and practically unusable UI, their poor customer service, and their complete lack of urgency. You're better off taking your business to Dialpad. You'll be delighted by them.

We have used 8x8 for many many years until recently been pleased but they changed their support policy and now it is about as bad as it gets.Had a problem we could not fix, the only way to get ahold of support is via the web (chat bot). If the chatbot could not fix it then you can schedule a call back, which I did. No call at the scheduled time, I emailed them they scheduled another call - no call at that time - emailed again they set up another time - no call at that time - finally I canceled their service and went with another provider.

8x8 is incredibly unscrupulous. We Signed up for a trial but decided not to proceed after a few weeks.We provided notice to cancel but they continued to bill us and followed up by trying to hit us with an early termination fee.

Extremely Pathetic Company. Since before my trial ended, I kept emailing them asking them to cancel my account as "Downgrade to free" Button does nothing.Noone replied and they charged me, Then again I kept sending emails for a whole month and yet Noone replied. Then after 1 month they replied and kept on saying things as if they didnt even bother reading my emails or sending saved replies. Its been 3 months now, THEY HAVE CHARGED ME 2 TIMES, NO REFUND, NO HELP IN CANCELLATION EVEN THO I KEPT EMAILING AGAIN AND AGAIN. AND TODAY AGAIN THEY TRIED TO CHARGE ME! NOTE: IF YOU THINK A COMPETITOR IS WRITING A REVIEW, YOU'RE WRONG! THIS IS MY PERSONAL EXPERIENCE AND IVE GOT PROOF WHICH ILL DEFINITELY MAKE VIRAL ON MY YOUTUBE CHANNEL.
