Just adding to the comments below as I think the reviews on the Absolute Collagen website are selectiveand misleading about the less appetising aspects of the product (as are the majority of earlier TrustPilot reviews which don't seem to mention the taste!). The website also makes the bold claim that the new flavours "taste delicious straight from the sachet" which, in my view, is categorically untrue.
I have been taking the Mango & Mandarin flavour and completely agree with all the points made by previous reviewers. The taste is genuinely gag-worthy and I actually didn't take it for a few days after my first two goes as I just couldn't face it. Texture-wise it doesn't bother me but the taste is genuinely vile.
That said(!), if you whizz it up into a fruit smoothie you can't taste it at all so I am definitely going to continue with the journey in the hope that it will work wonders. This obviously requires you to make your smoothie an everyday thing (which it wasn't previously for me) but at this stage I'm not convinced that adding the sachet to water or yoghurt would be enough to mask the flavour.
Overall I would recommend the product (and have friends who are long-term users) but just be warned that taking it won't be the most enjoyable part of your day!

So my Raspberry Ab Collagen arrived today - it doesn't explain if the contents are runny or more gel like so wasn't sure what to expect when i opened one.I gave it a sniff - so be prepared - it does have a whiff of fish - its not strong but its detectable ! So i was a little put off by that but I have the box now so down the hatch...... the texture is thick - really thick and gloopy !! You get it in your mouth and don't know what to do with it - because swallowing it feels wrong. So i've washed my down with water.... which has worked but it will take a while to get used to.
The taste with the raspberry isn't as fishy as the smell - but its gonna be a struggle getting these down every day ... i am not sure if i want fishy yoghurt or porridge either so will stick with the water.
It would be nice if the website were a little more honest about the smell etc - but i appreciate it would indeed put people off and everybody smells/tastes slightly differently.
As it's day one - I will re-review later on the actual effects. I hope I have not been hoodwinked by the befores and afters on the website site. Some look a bit staged (frowning vs unfrowning ....or pre botox and after ...) however i seriously hope i'm wrong there as if those results are real i'll be sharing asap !!!!

No results and hard to get refund for missing items

Fine until I decided that I was not seeing any results and wanted to cancel my subscription.Cancelled as soon as reminder came through but 2 days later got another email saying my order was on the way. Only one box arrived (my subscription if for mens and womens ) but two were charged to my account plus I was due a free gift with that order and that didn't arrive either. No response from the company despite chasing my money back twice now!

The first week of taking this I gagged every time I swallowed the fishy lemon gloop.It leaves you with a bitter taste even though it has sweetener in it. I though, "OK, no pain no gain".... so I continued to take it for nearly 2 months. After two months I have noticed my nails have become very brittle and my hair feels thinner. I was not expecting this so I have stopped taking it. I know everyone has a different reaction to supplements but this is the first time anything negative has happened to me when adding anything to my diet. It is an expensive way of finding out if something works or not. In my case it did not so I won't be recommending it.

Giving this a 4* as I'm 4 days in and I'm SURE, this is working already. Please bare in mind I am 26 and have good skin already (I drink quite abit and smoked since I was 14,not really into fitness and what not) but I am sure this is plumping me out already, recently I've been abit stressed and I've been drinking quite alot.. also being lockdown I've not been able to get my usual prevention Botox.. my under eyes seem to be abit more "filled" and my cheeks seem just, plump. I can't tell you whether it's this product or not but let's see, I hope to update as soon as possible.
The texture, for anyone wondering.. is quite bad. So, what I'm doing is, emptying the sachet into a cup and adding about 2ml of boiling water, letting it cool down for a few seconds and I shot it. I tried it straight from the sachet and tried swallowing and it was just horrible, it's quite gunky so I couldn't even swallow it but managed to get around it. Maxine mentions adding it to a smoothie or a yogurt if you can't handle the taste or consistency.

I’m only a few days in with this product so too soon to comment on the efficacy but the taste is something else!I’m taking the mango and mandarin and wow, it’s bad. Literally to the point of heaving. However if this product is as amazing as a lot of the reviews say I’m willing to stick with it and suffer the pain for better skin, we’ll see!
