Unable to get an online account to work. Have talked to their customer support numerous times and have gotten nowhere.Wrote corporate, no response, customer service supposed to call me back, nope.

Our local store never has anything they say they have online. When you ask about it in the store,they just say "If it's not on the shelf, we don't have it." Ordered something to pick up at the store that they said they had in stock. Several hours later, I got a notice that they canceled the order. Customer Service number is an absolute JOKE. The last person I spoke to was based in Mexico and my email was answered with misspelled words and poor grammar. I'm pretty sure my previous call to "Customer Care"(which is laughable) was also in another country. I should have checked this site for reviews before I even thought about shopping there. Absolutely the worst, even worse than Lowe's and Home Depot, and Walmart COMBINED.

Bought a Toro lawnmower less than a month ago. First one was defective. Brought it back.Second one was defective (same problem). Now, I have a bad taste in my mouth and asked for a refund. Ace says "NO. Once the unit has gas inside it we don't give refunds." That seems just swell because I don't know how You TEST a lawnmower WITHOUT putting gas in it.

We try to use ace instead of big box but after this weekend things will change. Having a cart filled we went to buy large outdoor flag to find not one had price tag.Waiting to find someone on the floor to help with no success we asked nearby cashier for help. She said to bring it to her but being on a display it was unreachable so she would get someone to help us. well while we waited the cashier walked by us with her eyes averted from us and proceeded to either go on break or went home. Long story short we left full carriage and went to Lowes who gladly took our 151.00

I made an online order with Ace. The terms were they were going to ship to store and then deliver to me.
They gave a delivery date.An Ace employee called the day before delivery date to tell me my order was in but I had to come pick it up instead. I told them no thanks and that my order stated delivery. The person said ok, sorry for the mixup and said it was on the schedule to be delivered on the day promised. Later that day I get a call from the store manager telling me that it would not be delivered until the next week because "The Delivery Truck Is Full". I told him to keep the order and give me a refund. I would go buy it elsewhere where it would not be such a hassle. After doing that the manager delivered it himself to my home 2 minutes away from the store. They would have spent less time if they just delivered it than they did trying to get out of delivering it. I was happy to see the Store Manager realized his mistake and made it right. I will keep shopping here, its a new store and maybe the store needs to get better organized.

My local store is excellent. Acehardware.com is not! I ordered 10 bags of dirt and a little roll of garden fence.I ordered it all for delivery, since I could not pick up the dirt myself. They sent me the fence (for $10 shipping!) and wanted me to pick up the dirt. Then, they would only cancel the pick-up order and said I could return the little fence but they were going to keep the $10 shipping!! It took me 2 hours to even get somebody on the line to cancel the order for pick-up. I will never order from acehardware.com again.
