Vistara is a joint venture of Tata Sons Limited and Singapore Airlines Limited (SIA), wherein Tata Sons holds 51% stake in partnership and Singapore Airlines owns 49% stake. The company is registered as TATA SIA Airlines Limited. In 2013, two legendary brands, Tata Sons and Singapore Airlines, decided to fulfil a long-cherished shared dream to bring forth a distinguished flying experience to air travellers in India. With its strong historical ties with aviation, the Tata group had long wished to re-enter the aviation sector, after Tata Airlines was renamed Air India and eventually, nationalised. Both, the Tata group and Singapore Airlines were also firm believers in the growth potential of the Indian aviation sector and hence tried to enter the market in the past; first, in 1994 by setting up a joint venture to start an airline in India and then in 2000, teaming up to purchase stakes in Air India. However, after the lifting of foreign investment restrictions in 2012, the partners once again sought approval for a tie-up, which it obtained in October 2013. On November 5, 2013, Vistara’s holding company, TATA SIA Airlines Limited, was incorporated.

This is such a disgusting airline, the worst one I have ever used. They cancelled my flight then have the audacity to not refund me.They are scammers just taking peoples money and keeping it (must be suffering due to Covid but thjs is no way to treat your customers). I wouldn’t ever recommend and expected more, book with a more reliable airline not this one. Their customer service is so bad that they ignore you and don’t respond.

Cancel our flight on last minute and giving us alternative a month later ,Customer support is terrible in the world , Travel agency is saying we need to contact Airline for changes but their stupid customer support is saying we can't help you , their management is the worst ever management in world , totally terrible .

Worst Customer Service and Care

As a Tata and Singapore Airlines venture, I was extremely disappointed with the lack of care andcustomer service. Flights were cancelled on both legs between London and Kolkata without intimation to us and no contact was made to rebook, which is an IATA requirement. The emails are non-functional and a single telephone contact portal ensures you are hanging on forever. If you are lucky to get through, the operators are not at all helpful. The only option given was for a refund, but no definitive amounts were quoted. No alternative flight was offered, which is a legal requirement. It was the efficiency of my travel agents, Southall Travels, which ensured that I could fly on both legs of the journey, but dates had to be changed by as much as 4 days to accomodate. Once airborne the service is not bad considering the COVID constraints. It is the worst customer service experience I have had in all my flying years and would try to avoid this airlines in future and would advise others to do so. It is a shame to see an airline bearing the pedigree of 2 such giants, fall so far from providing the Customer service, which is the foundation of their success.

This is worst airlines, I seen so far. I would recommend do not travel anytime by this.They don't bother to inform customers regarding changing any policy. Their customer support team is not reliable what they say on phone, don't do at all. Hippocrates team based in India. They don't accept their negligence. They don't have any reliable policy to work with customers. . Moreover they don't have any representative at Heathrow airport. They don't have supporting call no after Friday 3pm. If you are travelling on Vistara Friday night some thing happens no body from Vistara here to support you. I would recommend don't travel anytime. Their public support team are not even consistent to provide the information. Each people has different information and will confuse you. So don't come in to trap of cheap tickets of Vistara as this is not worth at all. if something happens you need to pay double of the ticket. All airlines are supporting customer in covid situation. However they are irresponsible and taking advantage of this covid situation. In addition, Vistara airlines don't value human rights and respect. They just value their money. This is my first ever feedback on social media. So you all can understand how this airline would be...............

Clean and Friendly Service

This is the first time I took Air Vistara and I was pleasantly surprised with their service and quality. The PPE they provided was good quality,the food is very good, staff goes above and beyond even after you landed I was helped by their staff, or else I would have struggled with one infant and a kid. I took the flight from LHR to HYD. Video Entertainment can be improved with more collection but the interface is very good and responsive. even the flight safety video is the best I have seen in any airline, make you want to explore India. Very polite staff.

Worst airline and horrible service Please avoid I am 29 and this is my 1st bad review,so you can imagine how bad the service must have been forcing me to leave my first bad review For the past 5 days, I have been trying to rebook a flight that the airline cancelled or get a refund but this company has been awful Was in que for 40mins and then they cut my call, called back, was in que for 20mins when I spoke with Ghorshana who has been very unhelpful today asking me to explain the situation when she can see the history of my ticket After explaining, she still could not help And Salman who was talking to me for more than 1 hour yesterday with no help again I am still left with a cancelled ticket and no new date or a refund I made a booking, paid the money so I need to receive a service which I have not. Very frustrating
