Will never make the mistake of using angi again. Aggregating contractors and service people for me is great.Generating a list for me to follow up with is great. Sending my contact information far and wide so I get bombarded with calls, often many times from the same companies? Not great.

We had Angi line us up with a horrible contractor

We had Angi line us up with a contractor to strip and reseal our deck. We had questions for thecontractor prior to their arrival via the Angi app but received no response and the name of the contractor was not the same as we were told. Two workers showed up and neither spoke any English so we had to use our phones to translate. Very frustrating and unprofessional. The worker started on the underside of the deck, then the stairs and then the top going up and down freshly stained stairs. Painted himself into a corner then back across the deck he just stained. The quality of work was poor, many places were missed entirely and there are splotches all over from uneven application of the stain. This is the last time we will trust Angie, we are thoroughly unhappy and wonder if the contractors are vetted or checked out at all.

Buyer be warned

I guess I should have read reviews about Angi before signing on with them. I was under the impressionthat a company that brings pros to customers based on a 5 star rating holds themselves to the high star mark. Unfortunately, someone forgot to tell them. We called to sign on. Our big decision was how many leads we would get for our paid money. The rep said a minimum of 20 per week. She looked at our business type and informed us after her review, we would receive at least 20 leads a week. We did everything they asked and more. We spent hours upon hours uploading pics, references and all that was asked of us. After 2 weeks and 3 calls later, they said that the rep was not accurate in her assessment and we shouldn't receive even close to that figure. That was the only reason why we signed up. Now they want us to pay a 35% fee of the remainder of the years contract for cancelling. This is a big mistake for anyone to get in to unless you are looking for a hole to throw your money i.

I tried what the Angi voice said - look up service providers under 'what am I looking for....' There is no way to look that up - it doesn't exist.Angi is attempting to trick you into getting contractors to call you without your ability to look them up. STAY AWAY FROM ANGI!

Never AGAIN!

I took a leap of faith and contacted Angi.com to hire a carpet cleaning service. I scheduled the appointment on their website for Friday May 14th at 10am.On May 14th at 8:30am I was sent an email notifying me that my appointment was CANCELLED. I contacted their customer service at the phone number provided on the email and was able to reschedule for May 18th. The evening of May 17th I received another email from Angi.com stating my appointment was once again CANCELLED! I am in a panic--I have an open house graduation scheduled for the weekend and no carpets cleaned. They offered to again reschedule for Friday May 21st but that would not work for me with the other services (housekeeper and caterer) I had scheduled for that day. The reason they had to cancel (twice) is they could not find any service providers in my area. Well, I looked on-line for local carpet cleaning services and found several. (I should have done that to begin with!) I called the first one on the list and booked it for tomorrow. Plus their estimate is 1/2 the price of what Angi.com was going to charge me. I will NEVER use this service again. They are completely unreliable. Also, they need to improve their customer services. Although the gal on the line was friendly and professional--I could barely understand her broken English. Very frustrating to ask them to repeat themselves over and over again! One star rating is a bit generous in my book!

Angi.com recommended Southern & Sons Property Management for excavation service and Tree Removal- Stomp grinding.Brian Jackson and Jacqulyn Cassaro company Southern & Sons Property Management did a lousy, unprofessional job overall. In the process, my they damaged my property. Brian Jackson promised to return to remove all the Debris that he hid around my property line along with replacing the damaged flag pole. I would NOT recommend this Company (Southern & Sons) nor this couple. People Beware!!!

Wrong resource was referred now I can’t stop the phone calls

I wanted a certified kitchen designer to start the planning of a kitchen remodel. Angi turned my name and number over to contractors wanting to bid a project that has no plans.2 weeks later I am still getting phone calls from contractors wanting to bid a project that has no plans. I can’t stop the phone calls. I went to the NKBA website and located a couple designers in my area.
