One of the best generic code editors…

One of the best generic code editors out there, it's open source, has many plugins,it's customizable at many aspects and as close to perfect as a text/code editor could possibly be. There are a few issues from time to time but they're usually corrected, or there may be a temporary fix available online somewhere that actually works. I'm also a bit skeptical to it's use of nodejs but I suppose I'm not educated enough in that particular library, I just consider the usage of system resources a bit high for a text editor to be fair. But all that aside, if you ever need a generic text/code editor for Windows, OSX or your favorite GNU+Linux distro, Atom should be your first choice in my opinion.
